Tim Duncan scored 16 points (6-11 FGA/ 4-6 FTA) with nine rebounds and two assists Friday as the Spurs fell to the Suns 94-89.

Duncan's stats through two games are quite similar to his 2013-14 numbers. Fantasy players should expect similar production going forward.

Tony Parker led the Spurs with 19 points (8-16 FGA/ 1-2 FTA) in their 94-89 loss to the Suns Friday. Parker also had six assists and four turnovers.

This was just a typical game for Tony Parker. The dude is really good.

Kawhi Leonard scored six points (0-5 FGA/6-6 FTA) with eight rebounds and one assist in the Spurs 89-94 loss to the Suns Friday.

Leonard was making his debut after missing Tuesday's game due to an eye infection. It was a forgettable debut for the reigning Finals MVP. He should be just fine going forward, though the fantasy players who were expecting a huge step forward this season will likely be disappointed.

Austin Daye will start for the Spurs on Friday.

Daye had some really big games in the preseason when he was the go-to-guy, and he will receive the start Friday against the Suns. Unlike the preseason, he will not be the go-to-guy in this outing.

Kawhi Leonard will start and have no minutes limit on Friday.

Leonard will be a constant contributor in many categories for his owners this season, and it will start immediately upon his return to the lineup. He is an extremely versatile small forward who does everything well.

Tiago Splitter (back/calf) won't play Friday.

A calf strain caused Splitter to miss the season opener and he is also going to miss the team's second game. Splitter's earliest return date is November 5th, and reports indicate that is even a distinct longshot. Boris Diaw and Aron Baynes are the main beneficiaries during Splitter's absence.

Manu Ginobili scored 20 points (6-13 FGA/ 6-7 FTA) going 2-for-6 from three-point range with six assists, two rebounds and two steals in the Spurs 101-100 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday.

Ginobili looked extremely rusty in preseason, so this is definitely an encouraging sign. Tonight's performance is probably closer to his ceiling than his average, but it's always nice to see Manu be Manu. As long as he's both healthy and playing, he'll be a solid across the board contributor.
