Matt Bonner is back at the shootaround Wednesday morning. He missed Monday's game due to a death in the family.

We wish nothing but the best to Bonner and his family during this tough time. It's good to see him back in action.

Update: Kawhi Leonard's eye infection will be re-evaluated Thursday.

Leonard is one of fantasy's better across-the-board contributors, but the only thing holding him back are minutes played. He averaged around 29 minutes per game last year, and fantasy owners are really hoping he can get on the court more this season. His status is up in the air for the team's season opener early next week.

Tiago Splitter is unlikely to play on Wednesday against the Hawks.

The Spurs, like most NBA teams, are going to rest their starters as the season gets closer to insure that their starting lineup is completely healthy for the start of season.

Tim Duncan (rest) will not play on Monday.

The Spurs are playing it smart by resting Duncan for Monday's game. Duncan is a consistent player that hasn't missed more than 10 games in a season in nine straight years. He's a great fantasy asset and you can see where I have him ranked and what top 20 player he compares too in the Fantasy Alarm NBA Draft Guide.

Kawhi Leonard could miss the season opener with eye infection.

While the injury isn't considered serious, the infection has spread to Leonard's left eye now. He is expected to miss the rest of the preseason and now the start to the regular season seems like it's in jeopardy as well. Stay tuned for more.

Tony Parker (rest) will not play on Saturday. Cory Joseph will start.

Parker is fine, but he'll take a break on Saturday. He may see some extra rest over the season as a veteran player, but he'll still get plenty of playing time this season.

Kawhi Leonard (eye infection) will be held out of Saturday’s game against the Heat and it's possible he may miss the remainder of the pre-season.

If he does indeed miss the remainder of the preseason, it's more of a precaution than a necessity. He should be back by the regular season opener, though it's a tough break for him, as he hasn't gotten much time to play this preseason.

Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, Patty Mills, Tiago Splitter, did not travel with the Spurs for Thursday's game vs. the Suns.

We're getting close to the regular season opener and the Spurs are beginning to rest their studs. You should not expect to see these guys play much at all over the next couple weeks before their opener.

Kawhi Leonard missed practice Monday with the same illness that kept him out in Turkey.

The Spurs do not believe this is serious but he is missing valuable time. Coach Popovich wants to use Leonard in a variety of different way in 2014-15 but he'll be starting from behind heading into the regular season if they can't get this illness under control. He's worth a look at the turn of the first and second rounds of standard drafts.

Manu Ginobili was kicked in the calf during Friday's practice and will likely be sidelined during a portion of training camp

The Spurs will likely take it easy on the aging Ginboili to make sure he is healthy for the regular season and most importantly any playoff run.
