Saints' S Pierre Warren was released Thursday.

Warren had a strong training camp, but was ultimately expendable for the Saints. Though he was released from the Saints' practice squad, there is a very likely chance that he will end up back on that very same unit in the coming weeks.

Saints re-signed LB Todd Davis to their practice squad.

Davis has already been signed and cut from the Saints' practice squad once, but he is back again. He'll serve as roster depth.

Khiry Robinson’s workload will increase after RB Mark Ingram’s (hand) injury. "He’s another back we feel like is young (but) is someone that’ll be ready for the workload," said head coach Sean Payton.

Ingram is out for at least a month, so if there's a time to shine for Robinson, now would be it. He should see a nice increase in touches, but also look for the Saints to get more out of veteran Pierre Thomas. Robinson could make for an interesting flex play, but if you have another option you can use, you may just want to see how things play out in this backfield before committing your team to it.

Mark Ingram will not play this week, and coach Sean Payton said he is "week to week" following hand surgery. Ingram had surgery for a displaced fracture in his hand. Initial reports said he would miss up to a month with the injury, but Payton suggested he could return sooner.

Ingram had two screws inserted into his hand, so he's definitely out for at least that month timetable. Khiry Robinson should see an increase in work as well as more touched for Pierre Thomas.

Saints LB Curtis Lofton (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

The Saints will hope that the anchor of their linebacker corps will be out on the field for week three.

Saints C Jonathan Goodwin (elbow), LB David Hawthorne (ankle), S Marcus Ball (hamstring) and FB Erik Lorig (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday.

No real fantasy relevant names here, but the Saints would like for these players to be active.

Coach Sean Payton said Mark Ingram had two screws inserted above a thumb.

That sounds painful. Ingram should miss about a month, and it will be interesting to see if he has the same role is when he returns.

Saints signed RB Edwin Baker to practice squad and cut CB Trevin Wade.

The Saints needed some RB depth after they announced that Mark Ingram is going to be out at least a month with a broken hand. Don't expect much from Baker though.

Mark Ingram is expected to miss about a month with a hand injury he suffered Sunday.

Horrible news for Ingram owners, especially after he had what looked to be a breakout game for him on Sunday. The Saints will likely continue to update his condition, but it looks like Khiry Robinson and even Pierre Thomas will see increases int heir workloads coming up.

Shayne Graham was successful in his lone field goal attempt and converted all three of his extra-point kicks during Sunday's loss to the Browns.

Graham is now 3-for-3 in field goal opportunities this season, totaling 18 fantasy points through is first two games. Considering the Saints offense is going to put up a lot of points, Graham holds decent value in most fantasy leagues, just know that his field goal chances are going to be limited considering the Saints get in the end zone at a high clip.
