Rockets have finally acquired Jason Terry for Alonzo Gee, Scotty Hopson and a couple of 2nd round picks.

Terry should have a ton of open looks at corner threes while playing with Dwight Howard and James Harden. He could be worth a late-round fantasy pick.

Dwight Howard's Florida license has been suspended. He has had 27 traffic infractions.

Okay, Dwight. This is definitely better than being popped with drugs or beating his wife, but why does he have 27 traffic infractions? It's just baffling. Nevertheless, I'm sure he'll be able to handle this issue and it won't affect his basketball career.

Sacramento is finalizing a deal to send guard Jason Terry to the Houston Rockets.

Terry should be a nice fit in Houston, where Dwight Howard and James Harden should get him open for plenty of threes. It is doubtful Terry will play enough to be useful for fantasy, though.

Rockets announce they have signed center/forward Tarik Black.

Black could be an interesting fantasy player if Dwight Howard went down, but even then it would be impossible to trust him.

Rockets agreed to a one-year deal with Francisco Garcia.

The 32-year old Garcia will fill a minor role with the Rockets similar to the one he held last year with them where he averaged 19.7 minutes per game. He is not someone you would consider for your fantasy team.

Rockets have struck a deal to bring Kostas Papanikolaou to Houston for next season.

Panpanikolaou was drafted by the Knicks in 2012 and has since been traded twice. To date, he has spent his time playing in Europe, but will finally be suiting up in the NBA this season. He signed a two-year deal and will be guaranteed $4.8 million in his first season.

Rookie forward Clint Capela just signed his rookie contract with the Rockets.

The 25th overall pick in last season's draft averaged 9.4 points and 7.4 rebounds for France Chalon last season. The Rockets were considering keeping Capela in Europe to save money with the hope of signing Chris Bosh, but elected to sign Capela instead. The rookie will make $991,000 next season and $1.03 million the following year with options for two more years.

Bulls have announced the signing of Aaron Brooks.

Love this signing for the Bull, as it gives them a solid backup point guard that is fast and can drain shots from long range. Also, he's a good insurance policy incase Derrick Rose suffers another season ending injury.

Nick Johnson's team-high 17 points was not enough as the Rockets fell to the Kings in Monday's Summer League Championship game.

Johnson capped off a solid rookie showing in Vegas going 6-for-16 from the field with six boards, an assist, three steals, and three turnovers. Johnson, for the most part, showed during his time playing in both the Orlando and Vegas Summer Leagues that he has the skill set, basketball IQ, and potential to play either guard spot at the next level. If you are lucky enough to still see his name on your leagues draft board come the second round of your dynasty league draft then jump at the shot to invest on a player with some solid long-term upside.

Vegas Summer League Day 7: Rockets versatile big man Donatas Montiejunas recorded a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds Thursday as Houston advanced to the quarterfinals.

The seven-foot Lithuanian has had one solid summer league game after another, seemingly getting a little bit better and better with each game. D-Mo has a Spencer Hawes style of game in that he is a big man that can stretch the floor by knocking down the outside shot, with his range extending beyond the three-point line, as well as gobble up some rebounds. All that said, Montiejunas remains more of a player you put on your watch list in redraft leagues, but maybe take a very late round flier on in dynasty leagues as he will need a lot more things to go his way besides a handful of good Summer League performances before he will get enough minutes to be an option fantasy wise.
