Phillies signed Grady Sizemore to a 1-year contract.
This 1-year deal is incentive laden, but it shouldn't really matter. At age 32, Sizemore is washed up and isn't going to contribute in any meaningful way. It was nice to see him attempt a comeback in 2014, but let's face it--he was a shell of his former self, batting just .233 with five home runs and 27 RBIs. This is not the type of signing that the Phillies should be making even though it will cost them very little. Sizemore will be worth a $1 flyer in deep NL-Only leagues next spring, but aside from that, stay away.
