Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans will miss 3-5 weeks with a hamstring injury, team says. New Orleans hopeful Evans will be ready for the season opener.
Sounds as if his hamstring is being more problematic than his knee on which he had off season surgery, as the Pelicans were expecting him to be ready for training camp. His role on the team is up in the air as well, with the options being at guard or small forward.
