Brandon Browner and Brian Tyms have been reinstated from the suspended list.

The Patriots need all the help they can get after they got shellacked by the Patriots on Monday night.

Patriots WR Brian Tyms has been reinstated from suspension.

While Tyms is eligible to return, he is buried so far down the depth chart, that it's unrealistic to think that he has any remote fantasy value at this point in time.

Chandler Jones registered three tackles and a half sack in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

Jones was able to sack Smith early but was otherwise shutdown for the remainder of the night as the Chiefs ground game prevented from Jones getting comfortable with his pass rush.

Darrelle Revis made five tackles in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

Revis was targeted and beat often by the Smith to Bowe connection particularly on the first drive where Bowe caught a few crucial first down passes that extended drives that lead to a touchdown. The entire Patriots defense struggled in this one and Revis is not exempt from taking some of the blame.

Jerod Mayo registered 10 tackles in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

It was an embarrassing night for the Patriots defense as the Chiefs offense did what they wanted when they wanted. Mayo has been the Patriots leading tackler over the past few seasons but on nights like this his 10 tackles were made as the defense struggled to stop the Chiefs ground game.

Julian Edelman caught four passes for 23 yards in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

The Chiefs defense really focused on shutting down Edelman as he was only able to catch four of his eight targets and was never able to find space to run after the catch. Edelman is the Patriots top receiver and until Rob Gronkowski is deemed ready to play every down or another wide receiver steps up like Brandon LaFell did tonight defenses will make it their goal to shutdown Edelman and frustrate Tom Brady.

Rob Gronkowski caught two passes for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

Gronk is still on a limited snap count but was on the field for Garoppolo's first drive which ended with Gronk powering his way into the end zone for a 13 yard score. In the first quarter of the season it looks as if though Gronks value will be solely based on whether or not he finds the red zone until he is deemed completely ready to see full time snaps as he recovers from his ACL surgery.

Brandon LaFell caught six passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

The big game for LaFell is something that Patriots fans have been waiting for with his big play coming on a 44 yard touchdown catch where he broke a few tackles and ran away from the rest of the defense. He later connected with Jimmy Garoppolo on a 37 yard pass and should have caught another ball from Garoppolo for a big gain over the middle but the Chiefs safety laid a big hit on LaFell that jarred the ball loose. The Patriots desperately need another option in the passing game other than Edelman and if LaFell can prove to be that man the offense should vastly improve.

James White carried the ball three times for 21 yards and caught three passes for 15 yards in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

White was drafted in the fourth round out of Wisconsin this past May and made his NFL debut tonight and showed some explosiveness in both the running and passing game. The Patriots are known for using multiple running backs in their offense and his performance tonight could earn him some additional carries in the offense going forward.

Shane Vereen carried the ball eight times for 26 yards and caught five passes for 41 yards in the Patriots 41-14 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

Vereen saw plenty of snaps as the Patriots were forced to throw the ball in an attempt to make a comeback. Vereen's best asset is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and he was able to take one screen pass for a 28 yard gain. The Patriots will face a tough Bengals defense next week which could keep Vereen busy as the Patriots will likely need to pass the ball to stay competitive.
