Indiana Pacers to sign forward Chris Singleton.

The former Washington Wizard was out of their rotation once Marcin Gortat got to town last season. The Pacers are going to look for as much depth as they can after the loss of Paul George to that horrific knee injury.

Ian Mahinmi may miss from two to three months of action after the shoulder injury he suffered with the France National Team.

The Pacers can't be too happy about this considering they already lost Paul George to one of the grossest leg breaks you'll ever see. Mahinmi won't be ready for training camp and his start to the NBA season will be up in the air for right now.

Pacers center Ian Mahinmi leaves Team France with shoulder injury.

Even though he saw his minutes reduced because of the emergence of Roy Hibbert, Mahinmi's absence due to injury isn't going to make the Pacers too happy here. He'll have tests run and an examination to determine the severity of the injury.

Adonis Thomas signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Indiana Pacers.

Thomas was last working off a 10-day contract with the Sixers back in April but will now try to crack the Pacers roster in camp. It's an uphill climb for him as the team is already flush with strong guards, but he can certainly try for a bench role.

The Indiana Pacers expect Paul George to make a full recovery from his gruesome leg injury — they're just not planning on having him in the lineup next season.

Yes, a full recovery is expected. But let's remember once upon a time when a team known as the Portland Trail Blazers drafted a man out of the University of Kentucky named Sam Bowie who ended up breaking his left leg and then followed it up with a broken right leg the following year. Neither of those breaks looked half as disgusting as what happened to George. Did Bowie make a full recovery? Yes he did. Was he ever really useful on the court afterwards? No, not really.

The Pacers will apply for disabled-player exception after Paul George’s injury.

The Pacers, if they receive the exemption, will not have the media constantly badgering them about if/when George could/would return because he would be officially ruled out till June 15th of next season. If the team is rewarded the exemption they would be allowed to sign a replacement player to a "one-year contract worth up to $5,305,000, or they could trade for or claim off waivers a player who makes up to $5,405,000 and is on the final year of his contract," according to David Aldridge.

Update: Paul George was taken to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Las Vegas.

Once again, this is a very serious injury. Hopefully, George will be able to make a full recovery and return to the skill level he was at before this happened to him.

Update: Paul George suffers broken leg in Team USA scrimmage Friday night.

After having reviewed the injury, it is horrible, very Theismanesque. Our thoughts go out to George.

Paul George appears to have seriously hurt his leg in Friday night's Team USA scrimmage.

George suffered the injury during a fast break. Apparently, the injury was so gruesome that ESPN refused to show more than one replay.

Roy Hibbert is training with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar this offseason.

Let's all hope the sky-hook is in play here as that was always a fun one to watch when Kareem was playing. Credit Hibbert for reaching out to one of the greats. Hopefully he learns a ton from him, though you have to imagine that the game has certainly changed since the days of when Kareem played.
