Arron Afflalo scored 22 points (7-17 FGA, 5-6 FTA) going 3-for-7 from three-point range with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in the Nuggets' 115-111 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday.

After a slow start to the season, Afflalo finally appears to have come out of his shell as he is now averaging 21.2 points while shooting 50.0 percent from the field over his last five games. As long as he continues to average see plenty of field goal attempts like we have witnessed in recent games, there is no reason why he shouldn't be in starting lineups.

Ty Lawson scored 12 points (4-12 FGA, 4-4 FTA) with one rebound, 16 assists and one steal in the Nuggets' 115-111 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday.

Lawson's scoring production may be down slightly from previous seasons, but he is now the sitting on a career-high 10.6 assists, which more than makes up for his lack of points. As long as he continues to be a great facilitator he remains a top-15 option at the point guard position.

Wilson Chandler scored 23 points (8-17 FGA, 2-2 FTA) going 5-for-10 from three-point range with six rebounds, one steal and one block in the Nuggets' 115-111 overtime loss to the Rockets on Wednesday.

Chandler has been a solid performer for the Nuggets in the month of December, averaging 18.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.9 three-points through nine games. Although this pace may not be sustainable for the Nuggets small forward, as long as he continues to see plenty of minutes he remains a must-start in just about all fantasy formats.

Kenneth Faried scored 11 points (5-12 FGA, 1-2 FTA) with 11 rebounds and two assists in the Nuggets' 115-111 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday.

Faried was able to make his return to the court after a one-game absence due to an ankle injury, posting his first double-double since November 3. Although he appears to be moving fine, the Nuggets rotation has limited his upside in the early going which makes him a low-end option in standard leagues moving forward.

Kenneth Faried (ankle) will start for the Nuggets on Wednesday after practicing in full on Tuesday.

Faried missed Sunday's game and has missed three of the team's last five games due to the ankle issue. After logging a full practice Tuesday though, Faried has shown enough for the coaching staff to regain his starting job Wednesday.

Kenneth Faried (ankle), and Danilo Gallinari (knee) returned to practice on Tuesday.

Both players, barring any setbacks, should be ready to return to action in time for Denver's next game Wednesday.

Wilson Chandler (illness) is feeling much better on Tuesday.

Just a bout with the flu. It happens. There's nothing serious and Chandler should be just fine moving forward.

Nate Robinson (back) returned to the lineup Sunday.

Robinson played a pretty sloppy 15 minutes, shooting 1-for-7 from the field and 0-for-4 from three-point range, so he's likely going to be eased back in slowly after this display. He shouldn't miss any additional time, but don;t expect more in minutes from him in the near future.

JaVale McGee (leg) is expected to miss substantial additional time due to lingering soreness in his surgically repaired lower left leg, head coach Brian Shaw said Sunday.

McGee has logged 12 minutes in one appearance over the last 11 games, but has been out ever since due to the lingering soreness. The Nuggets are hoping to avoid any major setbacks which is why they'll keep him out, but it looks like this process is going to take a lot longer than expected.
