Grizzlies worked out free agent Tyrus Thomas, according to sources.
Since being the fourth overall pick in the 2006 draft, Tyrus Thomas has been considered a relative bust. Although he has had some solid seasons, Thomas' rebounding numbers have never been strong enough to land him a starting gig with consistent minutes. The Grizzlies apparently still see potential in the 28 year old as a backup to star forward Zach Randolph.
