Rockets brought in free agent forward Kenyon Martin.

The Rockets will give Martin a look, but ultimately, he's unlikely to crack the active roster. If he does make the team, he probably won't see much time on the court and therefore isn't worth watching in fantasy.

Wizards are on the verge of signing veteran guard John Lucas.

Lucas was a contract casualty for the Celtics back in September and hasn't drawn a whole lot of interest since, but with the Wizards dealing with Bradley Beal's wrist injury, they're looking to add some veteran depth to their backcourt. Lucas would fit the bill, for sure, but he's not anyone to chase in fantasy.

DeAndre Liggins signed a contract with Krasny Oktyabr of Russia on Wednesday.

This marks that Liggins most likely won't play in the NBA in 2014-2015. Liggins has no fantasy relevance.

And there goes Jones' potential fantasy value. He has none while playing in China.

Ray Allen's agent, Jim Tanner, released statement than Allen remains undecided on his plans for this season.

There were some reports floating out there that Allen agreed on a contract with the Cavaliers. However, those reports seem false as Allen hasn't decided about whether he's going to play this season or retire. Expect him to chase the ring and sign with Cleveland, if he does return to the NBA.

Free agent Carlos Delfino underwent surgery to remove a screw from his foot earlier in the week. Delfino was waived by the Clippers earlier in the month and is shooting for a February return. "I'll play whenever I feel ready to play," Delfino said.

Delfino averaged 10.6 points and 3.3 rebounds over 25.2 minutes per game with the Rockets last season but was shipped to the Clippers as part of a salary dump. With the need for surgery, few teams showed interest in bringing him on, but perhaps in February, when he's ready to return, a contender will be in the market for his services.

Earl Watson will retire and take a coaching position in the D-League with the Austin Toros.

This will end Watson's playing days. Watson enjoyed a 13-year career where he saw action for seven teams. For his career, he averaged 6.4 points per game.

Denver Nuggets are actively pursuing free agent Alonzo Gee.

Gee became a free agent after being shipped to the Kings and then waived in a salary dump deal. He's a support player at best and would provide the Nuggets with decent depth, but fantasy owners can overlook him.
