The Lakers are working on a one-year deal to sign forward Earl Clark.

With Ryan Kelly out injured and both Carlos Boozer and Ed Davis banged up, the Lakers are lacking in the frontcourt depth department. Clark would fill that role on a temporary basis, though it's unlikely he's going to do more beyond that.

Rockets are one of the teams considering signing veteran forward Al Harrington.

Harrington's team in China released the veteran and this may coincide with an offer he received from an NBA team, but no word has officially been said yet from anyone. The 34-year-old would join any NBA team as a bench player, however, so his fantasy value would be limited to the deepest of leagues.

Greg Oden said he's not interested in comeback right now.

That makes sense since he's only dealt with injuries while playing in the NBA. Unfortunately, he will go down as one of the biggest busts in NBA history, as the Blazers picked him first overall over Kevin Durant.

Quincy Miller will have a tryout with the Lakers this week.

Miller was released by the Nuggets this preseason due to his defensive struggles. Lakers need all the help they can get and the 6-foot-11 forward might contribute a little bit.

Jason Collins has announced his retirement from the NBA.

Collins has bounced around to four different teams over the last five seasons and always filling in a back-up role with limited minutes off the bench. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.

Tyrus Thomas workout with the Los Angeles Lakers is on Thursday, according to sources.

Thomas didn't play in the NBA last season, but is going to workout for the Lakers in an effort play in the NBA again. If he can't make it with the Lakers, then it is hard to see him making it with any other NBA team.

Grizzlies worked out free agent Tyrus Thomas, according to sources.

Since being the fourth overall pick in the 2006 draft, Tyrus Thomas has been considered a relative bust. Although he has had some solid seasons, Thomas' rebounding numbers have never been strong enough to land him a starting gig with consistent minutes. The Grizzlies apparently still see potential in the 28 year old as a backup to star forward Zach Randolph.

The Indiana Pacers are working to complete the signing of free-agent guard A.J. Price after abandoning plans to sign Gal Mekel. According to Yahoo! sports.

Price averaged just 3.5 minutes last season over 28 games for the T'Wolves last season but had a much better '12-'13 season with Wizards where he averaged 7.7 points and 3.6 assists in 22.4 minutes.
