If Braun still doesn't have full mobility in his neck on Monday, it'll be hard to get back onto the field a day later. Alex Presley will continue to start in left field until Braun does return.
Less than one year after Boxberger led the American League in saves, it's likely Boxberger will return to a lesser role in the bullpen. With Alex Colome pitching lights out in the closers role, there is seemingly no reason to change that anytime soon.
After the original diagnosis of a sprained shoulder, we've now learned Ackley has a torn labrum. The fact that it's throwing shoulder makes it a higher probability that this injury will cost him the remainder of the 2016 season. Austin Romine will likely move into the backup first basemen role for now but the Yankees could possibly call up Nick Swisher in the next few days as well.
Osuna has pitched in four of the last five days for the Jays so he won't pitch on Monday. Joe Biagini is likely the first in line for the save opportunity if it presents himself, Drew Storen if Biagini gets in any trouble.
Harvey's been bad thus far in 2016, but proved he's still got it after Monday's seven inning shutout. Harvey's best pitch was his fastball, which was at it's best it's been all year long. He worked on getting to the correct arm slot all week and it clearly paid off.
Morales has missed a bunch of time during the past week but is back in the Royals lineup, DH'ing and batting fifth. Morales has had a dreadful start to the 2016 season and isn't the best fantasy option right now.
Barney has been excellent this season in a reserve role and it's won him a starting gig until Troy Tulowitzki returns. Barney lost out on time once Devon Travis returned and took the starting second base gig back. Barney has especially been good at home, hitting .408 compared to .188 on the road. Barney could be a bargain DFS play during home games.
