Lance Stephenson (groin) could return to practice on Monday.

Stepenson has been held out for much of this week as the team wants to keep him well-rested for the start of the regular season. A return to practice Monday would certainly give promise for the start of the season and keep his fantasy value where it should be.

Kemba Walker is out Thursday with a sore left foot.

Walker will miss the Hornets' final preseason game but is in little danger of missing the start of the regular season. Be sure to check out the Fantasy Alarm NBA Draft Guide to find out why our experts prefer Walker in a points league over a standard roto league.

Kemba Walker (foot) departed Thursday morning's shootaround due to foot soreness and is considered questionable to play in Charlotte's preseason finale against the Pacers.

With the regular season nearing the Hornets will likely rest Walker in the last preseason game to make sure he is ready for the start of the season. You can read more about Walker's season projections in the NBA Fantasy Draft Guide as he is expected to be one of the first point guards taken in the draft.

Lance Stephenson (groin) will not play in Thursday's preseason game.

This was expected as Stephenson was a late scratch Monday because of groin tightness and being so close to the regular season, the Hornets aren't going to take any chances with him. He's day-to-day and should be fine for the start of the regular season but the team is likely to hold him out for the duration of the preseason.

Gerald Henderson (hamstring) will not play in Thursday's preseason game. He participated in a non-contact practice on Wednesday.

His hamstring has been the culprit for Henderson's lack of volume this preseason. He is supposedly close to returning so there is still an outside shot he plays in the Bobcats' season opener a week from today.

Lance Stephenson was a late scratch Monday night against the Hawks in preseason action because of more groin soreness.

Stephenson has been dealing with a variety of ailments this offseason but is expected still to be ready to go for the regular season. Fantasy Alarm's Mark Kaplan suggests targeting Stephenson (located in the third tier of shooting guards) in the fourth or fifth round, but before you do, keep a close eye on these injuries. It's very possible that he slips even further because people are nervous about his health.

Lance Stephenson and Marvin Williams will not play on Monday.

Teams are going to rest their starters before the start of the regular season. Stephenson is slated to open the season as the starting shooting guard for Charlotte while Williams is the projected starting power forward once he gets over a minor elbow contusion.

Kemba Walker (knee) will play on Friday.

Walker left Monday's game with a knee bruise and sat out of Wednesday's matchup as a precaution, but the issue is minor and he'll play on Friday. The Hornets may limit his playing time, but he looks to be behind the issue and good to go.

Lance Stephenson and Gerald Henderson are out for Friday night's exhibition against the Wizards.

Both players are dealing with hamstring issues. Stephenson hurt his during Thursday's practice and Henderson had a setback with his earlier in the week. Consider both players day-to-day as the lub tries to get them healthy for the start of the regular season.

Kemba Walker (knee contusion) is a game-time decision following Friday's warmups.

Walker is actually questionable for Friday's game and is likely to not play as the Hornets probably don't want to risk anything if they don't have to. He took part in warm-ups and the team just wants to see how his knee responds before throwing him into a game situation, but chances are, another game off would be more beneficial if there is concern.
