Lance Stephenson scored 12 points (5-15 FGA/ 1-2 FTA) going 1-for-4 from three-point range with five rebounds, six assists and two steals in the Hornets 105-100 loss to the Magic on Friday.

Stephenson continues to disappoint thus far, with another underwhelming performance on Friday. He's continuing to put up decent totals all around, but the point totals from last season just haven't translated into the breakout season some expected. In his defense, while his point per game total has dropped, his assists average has risen from 4.6 to 5.4 and his rebounds have gone from 7.2 to 9.1. He should continue to improve as he gets more comfortable with the Hornet's offense and could still have a nice season.

Kemba Walker scored 15 points (7-19 FGA) going 1-for-6 from three-point with 12 rebounds and eight assists in the Hornets 105-100 loss to the Magic on Friday.

Walker hasn't been blowing up the stat sheets with his scoring this season, but he's proved to be very consistent and solid all around, as he once again contributed in multiple categories with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. He'll only improve as the season goes on, and his three category contribution makes him a fantasy asset.

Al Jefferson scored 24 points (11-20 FGA/ 2-3 FTA) with 11 rebounds and one assist in the Hornets 105-100 loss to the Magic on Friday.

Jefferson had a really nice game, recording a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds. After a concerning six point performance last Monday, he scored a combined 52 points in his last two games with 19 rebounds and three assists. He's had a very cold start to the season but is now picking it up and it looks like he could continue to ride this hot streak for a while.

Update: Gary Neal has passed NBA concussion protocol has been clear to play Friday night.

Neal was listed as probable by the Hornets, so this news must have been known by them much earlier in the day Friday. Neal probably won't start but he should come off the bench for a fair amount of time.

Gary Neal is probable to play in Friday's game against the Magic.

If Neal is considered probable, then he must have cleared the NBA's concussion protocol and been symptom-free for 24 hours. He's missed the last two games, but seems on-track for a return Friday. Expect to see him come off the bench.

Gerald Henderson is probable to play in Friday's game against the Magic.

Henderson hasn't had any reported injuries, so expect to see him on the floor. with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) and P.J. Hairston (ankle) working their way back, his minutes might fluctuate, but while they're less than 100-percent, he should make for a fine support play.

P.J. Hairston (ankle) will not play on Friday against the Magic.

Hairston missed Wednesday's game with an ankle issue and clearly isn't fully recovered, so he'll be out again on Friday. The Hornets are hoping to have him back in the lineup early next week.
