DeMarre Carroll will start on Friday against the Pistons.

After missing the past four games with a groin injury, Carroll is ready to get back into action and continue his solid season. The Hawks should be grateful to get back Carroll and his 12 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, 45-percent from three, and solid on-ball defense. Don't expect many more losses to the Lakers with him back in the starting lineup.

DeMarre Carroll will be active Friday and all indications are he will start against the Pistons.

Carroll has missed the last four games with the groin injury but returned to a full practice Wednesday and Thursday. You can feel confident about getting him back into your lineup.

Hawks have assigned Adreian Payne to the D-League for a pair of weekend games.

This is a move made so that Payne can get some playing time. Payne hasn't played for the Hawks this season and has been inactive in nine of the first 10 games. He will return to the Hawks after he plays the two weekend D-League games.

DeMarre Carroll (groin) could return to the Hawks lineup as soon as Friday after the starting small forward went through a full practice Wednesday.

After missing the past three games, it's looking more and more optimistic for Carroll to play on Friday. Carroll has been one of the Hawks pleasant surprises this season, and he was sorely missed in the Hawks last night loss to the lowly Lakers.

Thabo Sefolosha scored 10 points (4-11 FGA/1-2 FTA) going 1-for-4 from three-point range with nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in the Hawks' 114-109 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.

Sefolosha got the start on Tuesday night and didn't disappoint. He was one rebound shy of a double-double, so fantasy owners can certainly be happy with this performance. The veteran will continue to draw starts while DeMarre Carroll is sidelined with a groin injury.

Al Horford scored 15 points (7-8 FGA) going 1-for-1 from three-point range with eight rebounds and two assists in the Hawks' 114-109 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.

Horford wasn't overwhelming on Tuesday night, but he was able to chip in with 15 points and eight rebounds. As long as he can stay healthy, he's going to be an excellent option at center going forward. We know that is easier said than done, but in 2014, everything has gone quite well for the veteran big man.

Jeff Teague scored 23 points (8-14 FGA/ 6-6 FTA) going 1-for-1 from three-point range with three assists in the Hawks' 114-109 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.

Teague had a clunker on Saturday, scoring just five points in 26 minutes. He came back on Tuesday night and dropped 23 on the Lakers, though he was hardly useful in any other category. He's posted just six assists in his previous two games, but owns a 7.4 APG this year and should be able to come close to maintaining that number for the duration of the season. Teague will likely be less up-and-down going forward and should be a solid option at guard as we get deeper into the season.

Paul Millsap scored 29 points (11-16 FGA/ 5-8 FTA) going 2-for-4 from three-point range with four rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two blocks in the Hawks' 114-109 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.

Millsap stuffed the stat sheet on Tuesday night, scoring 29 points and also providing a healthy dose in all other categories. While Millsap grabs plenty of rebounds, he will also provide fantasy owners with plenty of blocks and steals as the season progresses. He will certainly be one of the best power forwards this season.
