Odell Beckham Jr. might be moved around over the final nine games, according to receivers coach Sean Ryan. He envisions moving Beckham around so teams cannot just key on him, and the belief is that Beckham’s skills will play well in the slot.

The Giants are going to take the bye week to figure out which receiver configuration works best. The want to use Rueben Randle in the slot, they want to move Beckham around and they want to get Preston Parker involved. The Giants are going to be hard-pressed to replace a talent like Victor Cruz, but it looks like they're focusing on the passing attack which should make Beckham and the others some highly coveted options down the stretch.

Rueben Randle could be used in the slot over the final nine games, as the team works to replace WR Victor Cruz (knee).

With Odell Beckham and Preston Parker each more than capable of playing on the outside, the Giants may be able to get more out of Randle by using him as the slot receiver. They're going to have to play around with the receiver configuration before they find where they can get the most out of Randle, but the thing to take away from this is that they *want* to get him the ball. They *will* get him the ball. Plenty of targets coming his way so keep him active in your lineup when the Giants return from their bye in Week 9.

Jon Beason said on WFAN it's 50-50 whether he should get his toe fixed and end his season or try to continue playing.

50/50? How about just getting it done so we don't have to deal with these on again, off again annoyances? Beason's foot issues have been a constant this season, dating back to training camp. The Giants have already figured out a way to deal without him, so the hold-up here seems unnecessary.

Rashard Jennings is eyeing a return when the Giants take the field next on November 3 against the Colts.

The Giants desperately need Jennings to return because Andre Williams is not a good running back or capable of performing like the way Jennings can. Jennings has accumulated 396 rushing yards and 109 receiving yards with two total touchdowns this season. Now is the to buy-low on him in fantasy leagues because he will continue to put up solid fantasy numbers when he hopefully returns on November third.

Coach Tom Coughlin said LB Jon Beason (toe) will have to go visit Dr. Robert Andrerson, the foot/ankle specialist in Charlotte again.

Beason re-aggravated the injury during Sunday's game and while x-rays revealed no breaks, he was unable to return to the game. This has been ongoing since he first suffered the injury back in May during OTAs and has yet to heal properly. Perhaps the specialist will shed some light on things, but this doesn't bode well for Beason's status for the rest of the season.

Update: Cullen Jenkins is expected to miss some time due to a strained calf.

Jenkins left the locker room on crutches Sunday and is expected to have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the damage. With the Giants heading into their bye week, he may not miss any time. If he does, Mike Patterson will see some starting time on the field in Week 9.

Jason Pierre-Paul recorded six tackles and had two sacks in the Giants’ loss to the Cowboys.

There was not much positive to take away from the Giants' defensive effort against Dallas, but Pierre-Paul did have two sacks. He has not quite reached his level of dominance attained in 2011, but it is a good sign that he was able to generate so much pressure against a good offensive lineup and a mobile quarterback.

Josh Brown did not have any field goal attempts and made all three of his extra point attempts in the Giants’ 31-21 loss to the Cowboys.

The Giants were all or nothing against the Cowboys and lost several possessions on turnovers. This prevented Brown from having potential field goal opportunities. His next game won't be until Week 9 against the Colts.

Daniel Fells caught one pass on one target for 27 yards and one touchdown during the Giants’ 31-21 loss to the Cowboys.

All Fells does is catch touchdowns. Of his nine receptions for the season, four have been touchdowns. He isn't worth rostering right now, but in a case of desperation due to injury or bye weeks he could be a fill-in option purely for the potential of catching a touchdown.

Larry Donnell caught seven passes on seven targets for 90 yards and no touchdowns during the Giants’ loss to Dallas.  He also lost two fumbles.

After a couple games of invisibility, Donnell returned to having a prominent role in the Giants' offense against Dallas. That was to be expected with Victor Cruz out. But it was troubling that Donnell fumbled twice in the game against the Cowboys which could create some doubt as to his reliability going forward. Expect him to work on his ball-handling techniques during the bye week.
