Jordan Stanton was cut from Giants' practice squad.

Practice squad player have zero value in fantasy leagues. Especially ones that get cut from the practice squad.

Update: Walter Thurmond will have surgery on his torn pec Tuesday.

Terrible news for an already struggling Giants secondary as they lose Walter Thurmond III to a torn pectoral muscle and will be out for the remainder of the season. Thurmond settled for a one-year deal in New York because of his injury history and this won't help his case next off-season. The only sliver of good news for the Giants is that CB Jayron Hosley will be off suspension for Week 5.

Jerrel Jernigan has a mid-foot sprain and is being evaluated, according to the Giants.

The foot injury seems to becoming a more common affliction in the NFL and they can be the toughest to recover, especially for wide receivers and running backs. Right now, you should consider Jernigan doubtful for Week 3, and is likely staring at a multi-week absence. Jernigan has six catches for 40 yards through the Giants' first two games.

Walter Thurmond suffered a torn pectoral Week 2 against the Cardinals. He is expected to undergo surgery this week and miss the remainder of the season.

With Thurmond out, we should expect to see Zack Bowman and Trumaine McBride each step into a bit of a larger role.

Walter Thurmond has a pectoral injury. The team is hoping it's a strain.

The Giants will have Thurmond go for an MRI on Monday to reveal the severity of the injury.

Jason Pierre-Paul recorded four tackles along with 1.5 sacks and two passes defended in the Giants’ 25-14 loss to the Cardinals.

A solid day considering JPP was limited all week in practice due to a neck stinger he suffered during Monday's loss to the Lions. He seemed completely fine during the game and now has eight tackles and 2.5 sacks on the year.

Josh Brown did not have any field goal attempts and converted both of his extra points in the Giants’ 25-14 loss to Arizona.

Way too quiet a day for Brown, and a rarity at that. With just two extra-point attempts, he was a bust for fantasy owners, but those who have watched Brown with the Giants over the last few seasons know that he'll see plenty of field goal attempts in the future.

Daniel Fells caught one pass for one yard and a touchdown during the Giants’ 25-14 loss to Arizona on Sunday.

One of those designed plays to the tight end who never sees the ball during the game but ends up with the touchdown grab because the defense usually leaves him uncovered. Larry Donnell is the tight end to own on this team. Fells is way too inconsistent to trust.

Larry Donnell caught seven passes for 81 yards and no touchdowns during the Giants’ 25-14 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

The tight end position has been vitally important for the Giants over the past several years. However, they have not been able to maintain any consistency with respect to their personnel. It looked bleak coming into 2014 but Larry Donnell has had two big games to start the season and looks like he can be a formidable pass-catching tight end for Eli Manning.

Rueben Randle caught four passes for 39 yards and one touchdown in the Giants’ 25-14 loss to Arizona on Sunday.

The talented but much maligned Rueben Randle made an incredible one-handed touchdown catch for his first score of the season. He was expected to play a big role in the Giants passing game, so this could be a launching pad for him especially since Victor Cruz has been a non-factor thus far.
