William Moore suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday's game.

Both Dwight Lowery (shoulder) and Josh Wilson (hamstring) are questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Saints.

That is half of the Falcons' starting secondary that has done a good job against the Saints to this point. Javier Arenas and Dezmen Southward will take over if Wilson and Lowery cannot return.

Update: Steven Jackson (quad) will not return to Sunday's game against the Saints.

The game now belongs to Devonta Freeman and Jacquizz Rodgers. Freeman has the better chance at fantasy value, though it is difficult to trust any Atlanta running back given the sad state of their offensive line.

Steven Jackson suffered a quad injury late in the second half of Sunday's game against the Saints. His return is questionable.

Jacquizz Rodgers and Devonta Freeman will likely split the backfield work if Jackson cannot return. Rodgers has already proven he is not a good NFL running back, but Freeman could have some upside if the Falcons give him most of the work.

Julio Jones officially is active Sunday.

This is the news fantasy owners have been waiting for all week. However, we still don't know how healthy Julio is going to be and he could be used as a decoy or re-injure his thigh injury. It is difficult to sit him in season long leagues, but he should be avoided in DFS leagues because of his high price tag and the risk that surrounds him.

Julio Jones walked back to the locker room with the strength and conditioning coach and the team doctor. His test is done and the official word on his status will come soon.

Fantasy owners are sitting on the edge of their seats. The Falcons are obviously hoping he plays. As are his fantasy owners. Harry Douglas owners? Not so much. We're now awaiting word. Stay tuned.

Falcons are expected to part ways with head coach Mike Smith at the end of the season.

After yet another losing season, the latest news out of Atlanta should come at no surprise. Despite a change of guards, we can expect to see both Matt Ryan and Julio Jones to remain with the team as they will be a huge part of the rebuilding that is about to happen in the Falcons locker room.

Falcons and Julio Jones (hip) are optimistic that he will play Sunday.

Jones enters Week 16 as questionable after missing Friday's practice as he continues to deal with a hip injury sustained against the Packers two weeks ago. If able to play, fantasy owners should expect a big game form their top wide receiver considering the Saints are ranked 25th in the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season.
