O.J. Mayo scored 17 points (6-10 FGA/ 2-2 FTA) going 3-for-6 from three-point range with three rebounds, three assists and one block in the Bucks 108-106 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday.

Mayo has always been able to score the ball, he has always had that skill. He is coming off the bench in Milwaukee but he is going to see substantial minutes as one of the first men coming off the bench. In his allotted minutes, he is going to get his shots up and get his points.

Brandon Knight scored 22 points (5-17 FGA/ 10-10 FTA) going 2-for-4 from three-point range with 13 assists, eight rebounds and one block in the Bucks 108-106 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday.

Not many people could have predicted this game from Knight. He was a stat stuffer tonight as he filled up every column. Big games like this will be far and few between but this was a great confidence boost for the starting Milwaukee point guard.

Larry Sanders scored 10 points (5-8 FGA) with five rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist in the Bucks 108-106 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday.

Being a starting big man in the NBA, owners would have liked a higher rebound total, but Sanders was efficient with his shooting. Look for Sanders to put up a higher rebound total next time out. Scoring will be probably right around 10-to-12 points as he isn't one of the top scoring options.

Jabari Parker scored eight points (3-9 FGA/ 2-2 FTA) with four rebounds, one assist and one steal in the Bucks 108-106 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday.

Parker only put up eight points in his first game, and it will take some time to produce better stat lines as he is still adjusting to the professional game. The Duke product is a rookie who is worth rostering and starting as his potential is undeniable. He will produce better lines moving forward, just be patient with the youngster.

Khris Middleton scored 17 points (7-15 FGA/ 3-5 FTA) with six rebounds, two assists and one block in the Bucks 108-106 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday.

Middleton had a nice night in Milwaukee's season opener. He should continue to be a solid play moving forward as he is one of the top scoring options on a young Milwaukee squad.

Jared Dudley will start at small forward on Wednesday.

This is slightly surprising, but given the state of the Bucks, I guess they're willing to try anything. Dudley has been in the league for seven years and has averaged 24.1 MPG and 8.7 PPG. He shouldn't be on fantasy radars in standard sized leagues.

Milwaukee has guaranteed the contract of point guard Kendall Marshall for the season.

This is a smart signing by the Bucks as Marshall is a solid backup point guard. He averaged 8.8 assists last season, which was tied for the third highest rate in the NBA.

Larry Sanders went through all of the contact session at practice and is a go for Wednesday's opener at Charlotte.

Good news for the Bucks who were without a healthy Larry Sanders for most all of the 2013-14 NBA season. The defensive presence that he provides is unmatched and he should be a force down low all this season. Owners just have to be concerned over his injury past.

Ersan Ilyasova said Monday that he feels "110 percent" heading into Wednesday's season opener.

He suffered a knee injury and illness, which held him to just 2 preseason games. He needs to start fast if he wants to wrest playing time from rookie Jabari Parker at power forward, so it is a good thing he is better than at "just" full health.
