Coach Lovie Smith says he is not shopping Vincent Jackson.

Well, the coach might not be shopping the veteran wideout, but that doesn't mean the higher ups in the organization aren't shopping Jackson. Any player is available for the right price and it would take a huge haul for the Buccaneers to trade him away.

Dashon Goldson has returned to practice Monday after missing the last two games with an ankle injury.

The Buccaneers have been without the services of Goldson since Week 4, the good news is that he's on track to return for Sunday's game against the Vikings. The Bucs are allowing over 300 yards per game through the air which is worst in the NFL.

Vincent Jackson is not practicing on Monday.

Reports swirled yesterday that the Buccaneers were open to trading their number one wide receiver Vincent Jackson. "They are getting a ton of calls on him," Rapoport said. "With just one win, I'm told they are open to anything even though they love him as a player." If the Buccaneers did trade away Jackson, they would have to move forward with Mike Evans as Mike Glennon's number one target. Jackson turns 32 in January. We suspect he could be had for a third-round pick.

Josh McCown was back at practice and throwing the ball well on Monday. He didn't look to be hampered by the thumb injury at all.

Mike Glennon is still taking first-team reps in Monday's informal practice, but McCown was reportedly throwing "very well." We will know more on Wednesday when his status is officially updated for Week 8 but you can fully expect Glennon to remain under center against the Vikings.

Buccaneers will look to trade WR Vincent Jackson prior to the October 28 deadline.

The Buccaneers are trying to shed Jackson's costly contract and get some young talent or draft picks in return. Jackson is still a top tier wide out in the NFL and will draw a lot of interest on the trade market. Mike Evans and even Louis Murphy's fantasy value will get a boost if/when Jackson gets traded.

Charles Sims (ankle) said he is hoping to return to practice next week.

Sims has been out for almost two months with this ankle injury and while he feels that he is ready to return to practice next week, the decision is in the hand of the coaches and trainers. The third-round pick in the 2014 draft could be an interesting late-season sleeper as he could come back eventually to steal carries from Doug Martin. He's not a stash just yet, but keep tabs on his recovery progress now and see.

Buccaneers signed free-agent CB Isaiah Frey.

Frey will add some depth to the Bucs' secondary, but he doesn't make their defense a worthy add in fantasy leagues whatsoever.

Mike Evans (groin) participated in practice Wednesday.

Evans returned in Week 6 to catch four passes for 55 yards and a touchdown after missing Week 5 with an injury. The Buccaneers are on a bye in Week 7 which will allow a player like Evans more time to heal from lingering injuries.

Vincent Jackson did not practice Wednesday.

Jackson has been dealing with a rib issue lately, so with a bye here in Week 7, he's just getting some extra rest.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins did not practice Wednesday.

With no injury reported, Seferian-Jenkins could just be getting the day off. The Bucs are on a bye this week, so he's just getting in the rest that he needs.
