While many of the festivities during NBA All-Star weekend have nothing to do with fantasy basketball, one event certainly does. The 3-point shooting contest features players that can certainly help you out in a roto category. The long range shooting event, along with the dunk contest make up All-Star Saturday. The skills challenge also takes place February 25th in Orlando.

The six participants in the 3-point competition:

James Jones MIAMI- The defending champ returns hoping for a repeat. While he has a chance to win, he certainly doesn't get enough playing time to help you in fantasy.

Kevin Love MINNESOTA- It really is amazing that this double-double, rebounding machine has become such an accomplised 3-point artist.

Anthony Morrow NEW JERSEY- This guy is the best 3-point shooter in the Association, bar none. He lit it up from long range at Georgia Tech, and the extended distance hasn't bothered him a bit.

Joe Johnson ATLANTA- A true All-Star in a competition of specialists. Johnson is a legit long range man, but has much more to his game.

Mario Chalmers MIAMI- Chalmers has really been a find for the Heat. Anytime you can get production from a player drafted as late as he was, its a real bonus.

Ryan Anderson ORLANDO- While Morrow is the best 3-point shooter on the planet, Anderson is the best shooting big man, perhaps since Larry Bird.
