P.J. Tucker Headshot

P.J. Tucker (back) has been cleared to play on Wednesday.

Tucker is coming off offseason back surgery and will still be brought along slowly despite being cleared to play. He is slated to be a backup right now and it may take an injury to give him a chance to see the court more than 10 minutes a night in Phoenix.

A.J. Hawk Headshot

Falcons have released A.J. Hawk.

With the Falcons adding to the other side of the ball on Tuesday, someone had to be cut lose. Hawk is clearly at the end of his career and hasn't really contributed to Atlanta's defense to this point, so hence the reason for the move. He can be re-signed by the Falcons later but could also sign with any team that wants him.

Terron Ward Headshot

Falcons signed Terron Ward to their active roster.

Ward makes the second running back added to the mix in Atlanta on Tuesday, following the addition of Stevan Ridley as well. Tevin Coleman is likely out for Week 8 with a hamstring injury suffered in Week 7 and Atlanta is simply trying to add depth behind Devonta Freeman in the meantime.

Jaron Brown Headshot

Cardinals place Jaron Brown (knee) on injured reserve.

A torn ACL suffered in the overtime snoozefest that was the Sunday Night game against Seattle has ended his 2016 campaign. Brown was the slot receiver for Arizona this year but had just 11 grabs for 187 yards and a score to this point. J.J. Nelson should be next up for the inside receiver duties in the desert the rest of the way.

Delanie Walker Headshot

Delanie Walker (chest) returned to practice on Tuesday.

Walker suffered a bruised chest in Week 7 against Indy but apparently is well enough to be practicing just two days later. Walker continues to be a key cog in the Titans offense and is on pass for another very solid year out of the tight end spot.

Stevan Ridley Headshot

Falcons have signed Stevan Ridley.

Ridley was previously with Indianapolis in the preseason but was cut just prior to the season starting. He has now landed on his feet in Atlanta as a depth add for their backfield behind Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Don't expect to see him anytime soon however as he needs to get in game shape and learn the playbook first.

A.J. Derby Headshot

Patriots have traded A.J. Derby to the Broncos.

Denver is in dire need of a tight end with Virgil Green as the starter and Derby was not going to be playing for New England anytime soon. He had big preseason with 15 catches for 189 and a score but is blocked by Gronk and Martellus Bennett. In return for his talents, Denver forked over a 2017 draft pick to New England. If he starts to play, he may be worth a flier in the deepest of leagues.

Brock Osweiler Headshot

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he has not considered benching Brock Osweiler.

Osweiler has been terrible for much of the season including on Monday Night against his previous team in Denver. There really isn't anyone behind him that O'Brien can trust more than Osweiler so for now he will continue to be the starting QB though if this continues, something will have to happen.
