Landry got Miami rolling early with a four-yard touchdown grab to tie the game at seven apiece. Landry really got rolling in the second half, however, when Matt Moore replaced an injured Jay Cutler. Five of Landry's catches, eight of his targets, and 80 of his yards came with Moore in the game. The two might be together again on Thursday as Jay Cutler looks to bounce back on a short week. Landry caught 15 of 22 targets for 213 yards and two touchdowns in three Moore starts last season.
Subban originally sustained the injury Saturday late in the third period, after stopping 37 of 38 St. Louis shots. The 23-year-old had been thriving in his role as the starting goaltender for Vegas, posting an impressive 2.06 GAA and a .936 save percentage in his three games. Look for Vegas to now turn to Oscar Dansk as the next starter in the goalie carousel, and expect a mid to late November return for Subban.
Apparently, the Bills liked what they saw in Thompson and were more than happy to take him on after he was waived by the Bears on Oct. 11. Aside from Sunday against a weak Tampa Bay defense, the Bills have a lousy pass offense and games like these won't come around very often for Thompson, even though the Bills might sprinkle him into the offense given he's got the speed threat to his game they've been looking for.
While X-rays on Teodosic's foot came back negative, he still suffered a fairly serious injury in Saturday's win over the Suns. In his absence, Austin Rivers will likely see extended minutes as Patrick Beverley's primary backup at point guard.
Minter's injury should create more work for Vincent Rey, who filled in at linebacker during Vontaze Burfict's suspension earlier this season. More will be known regarding Minter's injury in the coming days.
Peterson dominated in his Cardinals debut last week, but looked more like the plodder we saw in New Orleans here. While he was the only running back to get carries for his team, Peterson's workload was limited with his team down big for most of the game. The decorated veteran will be well-rested and should have a better understanding of the playbook when we next see him after Arizona's Week 8 bye, but the team's offense will be operating without starting quarterback Carson Palmer, who broke his left arm in this one.
Per the report, the injury could sideline Cutler two to three weeks, though such a potential outcome is pending the results of further medical evaluations. At this stage though, it looks like Matt Moore is probably going to start at QB for Miami in Thursday night's game against the Ravens.
Qi wasn't expected to make the rotation this season as a rookie. The 7-foot-2 is considered to be defensive-minded as well as a strong rebounder and has the potential to be a decent three-point shooter. The 21-year-old will likely have trouble seeing the floor since Clint Capela and Nene Hilario returned for this season.
O'Gara logged 14:17 worth of ice time in Saturday's loss to Buffalo, with his assignment to Providence possibly an indicator that Kevan Miller is nearing a return in advance of Thursday's game against the Sharks.
Stills got it going early with a 36-yard grab on Miami's first possession, setting up the team's first score of the game. He went quiet as Miami fell behind by two touchdowns, but then helped dig them out of trouble with touchdown grabs of 28 and two yards from the arm of backup quarterback Matt Moore. Moore and Stills have a nice rapport, having connected for a touchdown in each of Moore's three starts in 2016. They might be lined up together on Thursday against Baltimore as Jay Cutler battles a chest injury on a short week.
