Cody Bellinger (L) Headshot

Bellinger (ankle) said he was "fine" and was walking without a limp after Saturday's game, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The rookie phenom rolled his ankle on a soft spot in the dirt on the warning track and was later diagnosed with a mild sprain. X-rays were deemed unnecessary. The Dodgers can afford to be cautious with Bellinger, but it doesn't sound like he's in danger of landing on the DL.

Tom Koehler (R) Headshot

The Marlins traded Koehler to the Blue Jays on Saturday in exchange for minor-league pitcher Osman Gutierrez, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Koehler struggled to a 7.92 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 12 starts for the Marlins this season, but he's fared quite well at Triple-A, and the Blue Jays were in desperate need of starting pitching depth. An immediate promotion may not be in the cards, but Koehler should get the call when roster expand in September, possibly to unseat Nick Tepesch or Chris Rowley at the back end of the rotation.

Johnny Cueto (R) Headshot

Cueto (forearm) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The plan calls for Cueto to build up to 50-60 pitches Monday in his first of two rehab appearances. Cueto suffered a flexor strain in late July while rehabbing from a blister issue. He'd been pitching with a blister for a while and had developed three blisters on his throwing hand by the time he finally landed on the DL, which in part explains Cueto's uncharacteristic struggles throughout the first half.
