Logan Morrison went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI on Wednesday night against the Marlins.

It was a great night at the dish for Morrison, and it came just when he needed it most, as his sub .200 average was beginning to wear on him as of Monday afternoon. And just in the blink of an eye, Morrison raised his average 42 points with a two-day stretch of 6-for-7 at the plate. He obviously wont maintain this unrealistic pace, however hopefully this is a sign that his bat has turned around. Give him a few more games before making a judgement.

A.J. Ramos picked up his 15th save of the season on Wednesday night against the Rays.

Ramos collected his 15th save of the season on Wednesday night, walking only one batter, while he lowered his ERA to 1.80 on the year. He has proven to be one of the more reliable ninth inning arms this season, so provided the Marlins keep playing in close games, he should continue his ways going forward for the rest of the season.

Justin Nicolino went 5 2/3 innings, allowed three runs on eight hits and one walk, while he struck out six on Wednesday night against the Rays.

Coming off of back-to-back losses, it was good to see Nicolino focus a bit more in this start, yet he still couldn’t quite put it all together on Wednesday night. Even so though, his near six innings of three run baseball with six strikeouts will get the job done for most fantasy owners in a pinch, so you can say that he served his purpose on Wednesday night.
