Rakeem Christmas Headshot

Rakeem Christmas recalled from the D-League.

The Pacers needed depth inside with Kevin Seraphin out of the lineup, so they recalled Rakeem Christmas from the D-League. We still doubt he'll make much of an impact on the rotation, not worth a pick up.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Headshot

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) is listed as probable for Monday.

We haven't seen Caldwell-Pope in four games but he is expected to play after practicing in full on Sunday. This is only a two game week for the Pistons, so you may want to wait until next week to put him back into your weekly lineups. There has been no word from the coaching staff on minutes restrictions. Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson are going to lose most all of their fantasy value with KCP returning. He is worth owning in all standard leagues as he posted averages of 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.2 triples prior to the injury.

Lance Thomas Headshot

Lance Thomas (face) is out for Monday's game.

Thomas suffered a left orbital fracture and had concussion-like symptoms during the Knicks game against the Raptors on January 15th. He has been unable to suit up for New York since that night while Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Justin Holiday picked up his minutes. We still are unsure of when he'll be able to return to the court but it looks like it could be coming sooner rather than later.

Blake Griffin Headshot

Blake Griffin (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game.

It was a little too soon to think he would come back on Monday night but you still have to love hearing Doc Rivers say he "feels great." Griffin added that he’s as close to full health as he can be, and we have even seen him start to sprint during pre-game warmups over the last week. Griffin was also cleared for contact a few days ago and he has made it clear that he's hoping to return tonight but it looks like it'll be Tuesday against Philadelphia.

Kirk Cousins Headshot

Kirk Cousins has replaced Matt Ryan on the Pro Bowl roster.

Kirk Cousins threw for nearly 5,000 yards and 25 touchdowns during the 2016 NFL season but for some reason the Redskins are still hesitant to sign him to a mutli-year deal. He had a completion percentage of 67 percent and even rushed for four touchdowns. Matt Ryan is of course out of the Pro Bowl as he will be playing in the Super Bowl.

LeBron James Headshot

LeBron James will not rest Monday against the Pelicans and will instead play according to Head Coach Tyron Lue.

Most thought that after James' 45 minute game on Saturday that Ty Lue would give his superstar a rest on Monday against the Pelicans but it doesn't seem to be the case. The Cavs have not played great ball recently, going just 4-5 in their last nine. James has actually only been a third-round player in that span, but there's nothing to worry about here.

Rodney Stuckey Headshot

Rodney Stuckey (hamstring) is questionable for Monday's game against New York.

Stuckey has not seen the court since December 26th and only played six minutes. If you have been holding onto him, it is time to cut the cord because there is no way that even when he returns he'll earn many minutes over Monte Ellis and C.J. Miles. We will update you if anything changes in his status.

Anthony Barr Headshot

Anthony Barr is replacing Vic Beasley in the Pro Bowl.

It is safe to say that Anthony Barr took a step back in his progression as a linebacker when his coach Mike Zimmer replied "All" when asked about areas in which Anthony Barr needs improvement. He had a breakout 2015 season but his game was lacking in his third-year as a pro especially struggling in pass coverage. Barr also had little to no impact as a pass rusher. Barr is signed through 2017 with a club option for 2018. Beasley will not be able to participate as his Atlanta Falcons will be playing in the Super Bowl.
