Paul Pierce Headshot

Paul Pierce officially says he will be play one more season.

Pierce played limited minutes last season, coming in off the bench, or filling in, when a another player needed a rest. He provides some veteran leadership to a young Clippers team, but CANNOT be relied upon for any kind of fantasy relevance.

Patrick Robinson Headshot

Patrick Robinson should return for the Colts' Week 4 matchup against the Jaguars.

This is great news for the Colt's, who up till now, certainly have not looked like any kind of steel curtain. With a bad offensive line, the defense will have to step up. Having Robinson in the mix certainly cannot hurt.

Chase Headley Headshot

Chase Headley (back) returned to the lineup Sunday.

Headley has been a mild surprise this season for the investment, and going forward, you should consider him day-to-day.
Jordan Zimmermann Headshot

Jordan Zimmermann threw the last three innings Sunday in relief.

Zimmerman has been an absolute dumpster fire as of late. In his last 5 2/3 innings he has a 20.65 ERA. At this point, he is a complete fade in any format.

Kevin Kiermaier Headshot

Kevin Kiermaier was hit a pitch and left Sunday's game with a bruised left wrist.

Kiermaier should be considered day-to-day going forward. In the last 30 days Kiermaier has been a force at the plate hitting five HR, while stealing eight bases. If this is any sign of things to come, he may be look a serious look in drafts going into 2017.

Joey Rickard Headshot

Joey Rickard might not need surgery for his injured thumb.

Rickard has missed several games forcing the Orioles to manage without him. At this point in the season, the fantasy relevance is next to nothing here.
Francisco Cervelli Headshot

Francisco Cervelli did not play Sunday after taking a foul ball off his wrist Saturday.

Cervelli should be considered day-to-day at this point, but, the concern is low. Cervelli was batting .318 with one HR over the last seven days prior to the injury.

Neftali Feliz Headshot

Neftali Feliz (arm) threw off flat ground Sunday but is not yet ready for a return to the mound.

With seven days left in the MLB season, this news is of little fantasy relevance. Actually none. Outside of his 10.23 K/9, there was not much to love here.

Homer Bailey Headshot

Reds manager Bryan Price said it was "improbable" that RHP Homer Bailey would pitch again this season.

Homer Bailey, John Danks, Brett Anderson. All names you should not care about for fantasy value. Bailey has a 6.65 ERA this season, biceps injury or not, he was toast.

Joe Mauer Headshot

Joe Mauer returned to the Twins' lineup Sunday.

Certainly after going 0-for-15 recently, a day off for the beleaguered veteran certainly cannot hurt. Mauer has had some great games this season, while being a mild surprise in deeper leagues.
