The Suns have reportedly closed the gap in pursuit of LaMarcus Aldridge.

An earlier report had the Suns meeting with Aldridge with newly signed Tyson Chandler in toe in an effort to entice Aldridge into signing. The Suns had one of the smaller front courts in the NBA last year so the signing of Chandler and Aldridge would really change the dynamic of that offense. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Clippers have agreed to a deal with Paul Pierce.

Pierce is joining up with Doc Rivers in L.A. where he will likely find himself in a similar role that he had with the Wizards last season. With Washington Pierce averaged 11.9 points, 2.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 three-pointers over 26.2 minutes per game but came up big time during the playoffs, averaging 14.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 three-pointers per game. The "Truth" will bring plenty of playoff experience and clutch shot making ability to a team which has failed to meet expectations in the postseason. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Brandan Wright has agreed to a three-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The deal is for three years and $18 million. Wright was a fantasy darling in limited minutes in Dallas last season. A trade to Phoenix opened up playing time for him and responded in big way. If Wright can continue to get consistent minutes he can be a huge fantasy assest in FG%, blocks, and rebounds.  Analysis: Brian Rothstein

Paul Millsap has reached agreement with the Hawks.

The terms of the deal are three years and $59 million. It's a nice pay day for the 30-year-old. Millsap was reportedly offered a four year, $80 million deal so he took a hometown discount in order to win.  Analysis: Brian Rothstein

Nets officially signed first round pick Chris McCullough.

McCullough tore his ACL in January and likely won't be ready for the start of the season. Thaddeus Young agreed to a new deal with Brooklyn earlier on Wednesday, so McCullough's playing time is going to be blocked. We don't envision a large role for McCullough out of the gate.  Analysis: Brian Rothstein

Clippers coach-president Doc Rivers has reached out to a representative for forward Glen Davis.

The Clippers could use a real upgrade to their bench and Davis is definitely not the answer. While he can score occasionally, he shoots a low percentage from the field and doesn't offer much on the defensive end. The Clippers would be wise to look elsewhere.  Analysis: Brian Rothstein

Monta Ellis will meet with the Pacers on Wednesday.

The Pacers really need Ellis pretty badly. He's a proven scorer who would slot in nicely at shooting guard alongside Paul George. Indiana is reportedly going to offer a three year $32 million contract. We expect Ellis to sign on the dotted line.  Analysis: Brian Rothstein

Knicks are scheduled to meet with Aaron Afflalo on Thursday.

The Knicks really need help on the wings. Top free agents DeMarre Carroll and Wesley Matthews have already signed so the chances are pretty good that Afflalo receives an offer. We're not sure it would be a wise move though as the Knicks are hopelessly bereft of talent and Afflalo was pretty bad last season. Analysis: Brian Rothstein

Update: LaMarcus Aldridge has turned down signing with the Lakers.

It was a 50-50 chance Aldridge might join the Lakers, but he was unimpressed with the basketball part of their pitch to him. With LA in a desperate rebuilding stage, Aldridge didn't want to be a part of it. It seems like an almost guarantee at this point that the power forward will sign with the Spurs. He's been very impressed with their pitch and his desire to play exclusively at the power forward spot is something San Antonio is willing to grant him--especially with Tim Duncan's expected re-signing with the team. Analysis: Zack Carpenter

Celtics signed Jonas Jerebko to a two-year, $10 million deal.

After agreeing to send $24 million to Amir Johnson over the next two years, the Celts re-signed Jerebko, who averaged 7.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for Boston after being acquired from the Pistons at the trade deadline. But really? Spending this amount of money on low-level role players is a reach.  Analysis: Zack Carpenter
