Yunel Escobar Headshot

Yunel Escobar is out of the Angels lineup on Sunday.

Escobar will be replaced by Cowart at 3rd today for the Angels.Escobar has had another solid year batting above .300 once again.

Bashaud Breeland Headshot

Bashaud Breeland left Sunday's game with an apparent leg injury and is questionable to return.

Breeland provides a great 1,2 punch with Norman for the Redskins, but he will be missing sometime in today's game against the Giants. Expect Greg Toler to be in his spot until Breeland returns.

Julio Jones Headshot

Julio Jones (calf) fully participated in Sunday's walkthrough.

Although Julio has not been targeted as much as we all expected he would he is still a fantasy star. This is good news for all of his fantasy owners as it looks like he will play today.

Danny Valencia Headshot

Danny Valencia is out of the Athletics lineup on Sunday.

Vogt will DH for the A's today and give Valencia a break. Valencia secured the primary DH spot when Butler was released by the team and he has earned it hitting .288 this year.

Odell Beckham Headshot

Odell Beckham was fined $36,000 for his blindside hit in Week 2.

The fine is surely chump change to Beckham but the real news is that he's facing a potential suspension if he gets another unsportsmanlike penalty. Hopefully, he can keep things clean the rest of the way because it would be unfortunate for him to miss a game due to unsportsmanlike conduct plays.

Ken Giles Headshot

Astros announced that Ken Giles is available to pitch on Sunday.

Giles was hit in the wrist by a line drive on a scary play but x-rays came back negative and it appears as though he's available out of the bullpen today. The 26-year-old has recorded 13 saves and 18 holds this season while posting a 4.31 ERA and 1.28 WHIP.

Rubby De La Rosa Headshot

Rubby De La Rosa will visit Dr. James Andrews on Monday since his arm is still feeling tight.

A trip to Dr. James Andrews is never good news for a pitcher, but at any rate, it appears as though De La Rosa's season is over. De La Rosa tore his MCL and opted to go for rehab instead of surgery but he might need surgery after all. At this point, all we can do is speculate but we should know more about his condition over the next few days. The 27-year-old started 10 games this season and posted a 4.26 ERA and a 9.59 K/9.

Ketel Marte Headshot

Ketel Marte is out of the Mariners lineup on Sunday.

The switch-hitting Marte will take a seat today as the Mariners face off against left-hander Hector Santiago and the Twins. Marte is hitting just .211 against left-handed pitching this season, so it makes sense that he'd be out of the lineup today. Shawn O'Malley will start at shortstop in Marte's absence and is hitting ninth for the Mariners.
