Snyderguard was scratched from his start on Friday and will now have to be moved back. The impending wild card matchups starting pitcher is now unknown. The original plan was to have Synderguard start but if this injury continues to bother him, that may have to change.
Steven Wright is continuing to be one of the rare knuckleballers to deal with an arm injury. He has not pitched since August 31st and although the Red Sox pitching has been wonderful as of late they would like to have him back before the postseason.
After Brate began taking the majority of snaps at TE the Bucs lets Austin Sefarian-Jenkins go. Since being waived he has cleared waivers and is now free to look for a new team.
Along with the Dobson move the Lions moved Gooden to the active roster. The Lions needed more immediate help on the defensive side of the ball and had to make a choice.
Matt Joyce will make his way into the lineup and he's batting seventh. Marte has been a monster on the bases this year as he's 3rd in the entire league. He's battling a back injury and should be expected back relatively soon.
Josh Bell is making the start today and is batting second today. He's always an interesting punt play considering his spot in the lineup. Polanco is battling a minor toe injury but it's nothing to be too concerned about.
Carey did not practice all week with a hamstring injury and he was never expected to suit up this week against Dallas. Carey is not worth owning in any format despite Langford's very loose grip on the starting job. Keep a very close eye on the Bears backfield this week as Jordan Howard could see an expanded role.
The quad injury wont subside and he will be out for Week 3. Levy and Ansah will be missing this game against the Packers in Lambeau and the defense will need to play their A-game to give the Lions a chance at winning. This is shaping up to be a good bounce-back game for Aaron Rodgers and co.
Snead is in a dream matchup with the Falcons at home but may be limited or miss the game entirely. If healthy, he would arguably be a top-12 WR this week but the injury lowers his appeal. Snead should play considering he said "he feels good" but we ultimately won't know for sure until Monday afternoon/night.
