There does not appear to be anything wrong with the future Hall of Famer, but a regularly scheduled day of rest. Jarrod Saltalamacchia will get the spot start at first base and bat eighth against the White Sox left-hander Chris Sale.
Sean Lee did not participate in Tuesday's practice with a knee injury. The MRI came back negative and the Cowboys do not believe that the injury is serious. The Cowboys will take it as cautiously as possible with the cornerstone of their defense.
The right-hander has been on the disabled list since August 22, but it’s very encouraging that Strasburg should only miss the allotted time. The Nationals and Strasburg downplayed the injury and they seem to be correct. Strasburg has a 3.59 ERA to go with a WHIP of 1.11 and a 179:44 K:BB ratio this season and should be a huge lift for fantasy owners down the stretch.
North battled injuries throughout camp and was unable to show his skills as a result. Fantasy owners can continue to avoid this situation as North tries to get completely healthy at some point this season.
The Vikings won’t play many of their starters in the fourth preseason game and due to Teddy Bridgewater’s injury; Hill is now the starting quarterback. Hill didn’t play much in the third preseason game so the Vikings are trusting the veteran knows how to get ready for the season without getting a true game to prepare for Week 1.
There has been pessimism surrounding Charles for awhile which is why his current ADP is so low for such a talented player. This doesn’t quiet the negativity for Charles as it appears the Chiefs will implement a true running back by committee early in the season. Their end game is having Charles completely healthy by the end of the season which doesn’t help fantasy owners. It is imperative that if fantasy owners draft Charles hoping he can help them as the season progresses that they also draft Spencer Ware to cover themselves early in the season.
This is not good news as all signs pointed to the linebacker being ready for the start of the regular season when he had his knee scoped in the off-season. There should be legit concern that the veteran won’t be ready for Week 1 which hurts his fantasy value as Hali still needs to get into playing shape.
The Texans will rest many of their starts as many teams will do in the fourth preseason game and that includes quarterback Brock Osweiler. Savage won the backup quarterback job for the Texans and will now get a chance to hone his skills in the final game before finding his place on the bench when the regular season starts.
Graham is coming off a brutal season that saw his production drop and a serious injury cut his year short, but the veteran tight end continues to progress and his hoping to bounce back in a big way. The 29-year-old is being drafted on the back end of TE 1 which may be too high for a player that is coming off an injury. The upside is tremendous, but the risks may be too much as there are safer options for fantasy owners to target.
