In many leagues, this is the make or break week for teams on the bubble. If you need an extra boost to make the playoffs, then look no further than below this paragraph for the IDP advice you seek. Fortunately, there are plenty of players still available to help you achieve success in your fantasy endeavors.

Zach Brown TEN
Anthony Spencer DAL
Jerrell Freeman IND
Brown has been coming on of late, and racked up 10 tackles last week, 9 of them solos, in addition to recording two sacks. Hard to resist rostering him if this type of play continues, and the match up vs Houston should yield more tackles for the Titans' best LB. Spencer is the beneficiary of the injury suffered by Bruce Carter, and like others in the IDP field, I like him more at this point than either Ernie Sims or Dan Connor, both dependable veterans but without Spencer's upside. He, like Brown, also put up a pair of sacks last week. Freeman had tailed off mid-season, but is now a tackle machine with 12 and 16 in the past two weeks. He also recorded a sack last week against the Bills. If he's been dropped, grab him now for the playoffs.
Mario Williams DE BUF
Art Jones DE BAL
Chris Clemons DE SEA
Phil Taylor DT CLE
Marcell Dareus DT BUF
It is a good thing Williams had that surgery mid-season, as he is now playing like the DE the Bills envisioned when they signed him for big bucks this past off-season. He has posted 14 solo tackles and 5 sacks since coming back from surgery and the bye week, and should be an automatic start every week. Jones is now a starting/every down DE for the Ravens, having stepped into the spot formerly held by Pernell McPhee. Don't expect him to put up multiple sacks each week, but the tackles should be there. Clemons is a good match up play this week, facing the porous Bears O-line. I expect a sack this week, and will not be surprised if he gets a couple. Taylor's return to the Browns' defense after an 8 week injury absence is welcome for those of us that play in DT mandatory leagues. He is a good source of both tackles and sacks, if his past performance is any indication, and if he is approaching full health. Dareus is another Bill DL that is coming into his own, posting at least partial sacks in the last few games and putting up decent tackle numbers to boot.
Corey Lynch S SD
LaRon Landry S NYJ
Janoris Jenkins CB StL
Keenan Lewis CB PIT
With Atari Bigby out inSan Diego, Lynch is now making a case to become the starter in the backfield. He posted 10 tackles last week (8 solo) and he's a better option than Bigby was in any event. Landry is a true run stopper of a safety, and with the upcoming Jets' schedule, he will continue to provide nice stat lines for his owners. Jenkins stat line from Week 12 was fantastic, buoyed by two pick 6s. Since teams will try to avoid Cortland Finnegan, expect Jenkins to continue to see opportunities for big plays. Lewis is a pass deflecting/defending monster, with 18 PDs on the season. He would be especially valuable in a big-play IDP league.

Colin McCarthy TEN
D. J. Williams DEN
McCarthy is droppable, and has been for several weeks. He is not proving to be any sort of tackle source, and thus is not worth a roster spot. Williams is splitting time with Danny Trevathan and is therefore not exactly lighting up the stat sheet. There are better options out there, and I would suggest you drop him if there is a LB that can give you better performance.
Jason Babin DE JAX
Robert Quinn DE StL
Chris Long DE StL
Jeremy Mincy DE JAX
Justin Tuck DE NYG
Babin was picked up after the Eagles cut him, and he could rediscover his mojo in Jacksonville, but I am not willing to take a chance on it happening, If the Eagles cut you, it's not a good sign. Quinn and Long were major disappointments last week against the Cardinals, a match up that many expected would favor the Rams' DEs. It's not like the Cards don't give up sacks every week, so this was a serious aberration for Quinn and Long. I'd wait a week before dropping either of them, but another zero in the stat column would make me say buh-bye. Speaking of disappointments, Mincy hasn't posted the sack totals many expected when they drafted him in August. A decent source of tackles, but that isn't what you want from a pass rush specialist. Tuck isn't putting up sacks this season like we'd expected, and his tackle numbers are down as well. Don't need three strikes in fantasy football to cut an under-performing DL.
Brandon Browner CB SEA
Richard Sherman CB SEA
Patrick Chung S NE
While Browner and Sherman will be playing while their appeals are pending, they are most likely going to miss time, and now would be a good opportunity to dump them and find another DB that will give you numbers during the playoffs. Chung is not a full time player with Devin McCourty and Steve Gregory manning the two starting S slots in New England, and that makes him droppable.

All the injury reports below need to be evaluated at kickoff. Teams are notoriously sketchy about injury reports, and we often do not know a player's status until just before game time. The list below is intended as a "heads up" as to what is going on early in the week, and should not be considered definitive.
LaMarr Woodley PIT (ankle)
Lance Briggs CHI (ankle)
Clay Mathews GB (hamstring)
Cliff Avril DE DET (back)
Atari Bigby S SD (hamstring)
Louis Delmas S DET (knee)
