Finally someone was able to bring a strong week to the stable after weeks of mediocry.  I was able to put a 5-0 record last week which is the second time of the season I have been able to avoid a loss this season.  The rest of the crew finished within 1 game up or down of .500 once again.  Michael Stein continues to struggle as he falls to 10-20 on the season with the worst record of the group.  Will he turn it around or will he continue to struggle?  Stein has been a fan of road teams which is something I have avoided myself but can he turn it around?  Here is the Week 7 Five Game Parlay.

Ted Schuster of Fantasy Alarm (@Tedschuster)

Pittsburgh Steelers -1 @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Steelers have struggled quite a bit on the road so I may be asking for the trouble.  The Bengals have been awful on defense all season so I expect Pittsburgh to get their first road win of the season

New York Jets @ New England Patriots -10.5

I have no reason to believe that the Jets can even hang close in this one.  The Patriots thoroughly enjoy putting it on the Jets whenever they can.

Washington Redskins @ New York Giants -5.5

The secondary in Washington is a horrific which is bad news when they go on the road this week in New York.  Eli Manning will absolutely torch them all day as the Giants roll by a couple of TD’s.

New Orleans Saints -1 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

While the Saints defense still sucks, I don’t have much confidence in Josh Freeman to exploit them.  The Bucs have not done a good enough job getting the running game going early so the Saints get a rare road win.

Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings -7

The bloom is off the rose in Arizona and things are going to continue to go downhill.  The Vikings will eat alive the Cardinals offensive line and roll to an easy win.

Michael Stein of Fantasy Judgment (@FantasyJudgment)

Washington Redskins (+5.5) @ NY Giants

The Giants completely dominated the 49ers last week which was a surprise to me.  They proved they are a legitimate playoff team but they are still prone to inexplicable stinkers.  This week will be one of them.  After losing two games to a bad Redskins team last year, they now must face the dynamic RGIII.  While the Giants handled Cam Newton earlier in the year, Washington presents more of a challenge and will come into Met Life Stadium and erase the good feelings from last week.

Green Bay Packers (-5.5) @ St. Louis Rams

The Packers finally looked like the Packers last week against Houston.  Aaron Rodgers got sick of all the questions about their struggles so all he did was go out and throw six touchdown passes.  The Rams have an improved defense, but not improved enough to stop Green Bay.  They may not have much of a running game anymore, but they probably don’t need one.

Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) @ Carolina Panthers

This is an ugly game but the Cowboys should be able to take advantage of Cam Newton and the Panthers’ struggles.  Dallas is now back to relying on Felix Jones who could be in store for a big day against a weak Carolina defense.  This should be a high-scoring game with the potential for a lot of big plays and turnovers.

New Orleans Saints (-2.5) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Saints are coming off a bye week and are now in the win column to keep their playoff hopes alive.  Now that Drew Brees has broken Johnny Unitas’ record he concentrate fully on carrying New Orleans on his back.  Tampa Bay has a tendency to give up big plays and lots of points, so this could be another good week for Saints offensive players on fantasy teams.

Jeff Mans of Fantasy Alarm (@jeff_mans)

NY Jets Jets (+10) @ New England Patriots

I am almost as sick of the rivalry as I am of the Yankees vs. Red Sox.  Incredulously these teams are tied with 3-3 records.  The Jets have been decimated by injuries and a very inconsistent and unstable offense.  The Patriots have shown glimpses of their former dominance but overall look pedestrian.  New England is clearly the better team and should win this game outright.  But the Jets do play decent defense and are coming off a huge win against the Colts.  They will keep this one closer than it has any business being.

New Orleans Saints (-1.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If the Saints can’t bet the Bucs on the road by at least 2 points my faith in humanity will be over.

Indianapolis Colts (-2) vs. Cleveland Browns

The Colts fit the bill as a team that is night and day whether they are playing at home or on the road.  I expect them to handle the Browns at home this week even though Cleveland isn’t nearly as bad as their record indicates.

Green Bay Packers (-5) at St. Louis Rams

The Rams play everybody tough and I expect the same this week against the Packers.  But at the end of the day the Rams just do not have nearly enough firepower on offense to win this game or to stay within a TD.

Arizona Cardinals (+7) at Minnesota Vikings

This is an absolute crazy line.  Vegas is writing off the Cardinals because Kevin Kolb is out?  Kevin Kolb sucks and so does John Skelton but there is little difference there if any.  Larry Fitzgerald coming home again will be a big deal and I am confident that the team that beat the Patriots in Foxboro can stay within 7 of the damn Vikings.

Detroit Lions (+6.5) at Chicago Bears

The Lions will climb back into the NFC North race by knocking off the well-rested Bears.  The 6+ points are nothing more than gravy on top of this upset special.

Drew Phelps of SiriusXM (@djdrew05)

Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings -6.5

The Cardinals are slowly falling apart as both of their lead backs are down and now their Quarterback is out.  The Vikings are a good young team coming home after a tough road loss.  I love the Ponder to Harvin connection all day.

Cleveland Browns @ Indianapolis Colts -2

Step back for Andrew Luck last week but coming home with a bad Cleveland Browns team in town, I love him to bounce back and have a big week.

Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans -6.5

The Texans are embarrassed after their loss at home to the Packers this past week on Monday night.  The Ravens defense is falling apart and can't stop the run; they gave up 200+ yards last week to the Cowboys.  Foster & Tate run wild and win big

Green Bay Packers -5.5 @ St Louis Rams

The Pack is back in a BIG way and will roll all over an improved Rams defense.

New York Jets +10.5 @ New England Patriots

That is a HUGE number for the Patriots to cover against the Jets.  The Jets will lose this game but I feel like the Tom Brady has come back to the pack this season and hasn't overwhelmed anyone this season.

Hannah Landrigan- Mineral Area College Cheerleader (@HannahLandrigan)

St. Louis Rams (+5) vs. Green Bay Packers

Can’t I have both teams?  I suppose I’ll go with my hometown team even though I am not happy about betting against Green Bay.

Arizona Cardinals (+7) at Minnesota Vikings

Cardinals are the prettiest birds around and Vikings are just gross!!

Pittsburgh Steelers (-1) at Cincinnati Bengals

The Steelers are good, right?

New England Patriots (-10.5) vs. New York Jets

Any boy that wears UGGs is a friend of mine!!

New York Giants (-6) vs. Washington Redskins

My Dad says the Giants are real good so I will trust him and make them my last pick.

Want to know a little bit more about each participant?  Really?  You do?  Why?  Well, in that case, we profile each competitor.

Ted Schuster is the co-host of the Fantasy Alarm Show on SIRIUS/XM with Jeff Mans.  Always the angriest person in the room and never afraid to say someone sucks.  I am always hating on someone or some team.   Lifelong sports fan that will watch just about every sport around but nothing compares to NFL and College Football which is what you can find me doing each and every weekend during the fall and winter months.

Michael Stein of Fantasy Judgment is the Supreme Court Justice of the Fantasy Football world.  Stein is the man to go to if you have any sort of issue in your fantasy football league. Fantasy Judgment is the site you need if you have a rogue commissioner who is pulling things over on your league, a trade that just seems to be really fishy, or any other kind of shenanigans that can take a good fantasy league and make it turn badly. Not to mention the fine work that he does for us here at Fantasy Alarm.  Stein picks like he has had a lobotomy, so be careful before you put any of your hard earned money on any selections that he makes!

Jeff Mans has played fantasy football for over 20 years and is my partner on The Fantasy Alarm Show.  Jeff’s outside the box thinking has served him well and gained him much attention throughout the fantasy sports industry.  He’s won many championships but few friends in the process.  Although he has a wealth of knowledge and never shuts up, he knows that he’ll need to get through me to win this competition.

Drew Phelps is the Executive Producer of the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.  Lifelong suffering Washigton DC sports fan and very cynical when it comes to his own teams, but can you blame him?  He has been in handicapping sporting events for over 10 years now but just really hit his stride over the past couple seasons especially in the NFL.

Hannah Landrigan is a Freshman cheerleader at Mineral Area College in Missouri.  She is a legend on Twitter (@hannahlandrigan) mostly for her hot as hell pictures of her under a waterfall but also for her quick wit and social commentary.  Her favorite team in all of sports is the Duke Blue Devils college basketball team.  She is admittedly not a big NFL fan but likes to play rough with the boys and thus is in it to win it.
