At a collective 24 games under .500, this group of handicappers has really struggled.  Consistent 2-3 records every week is not going to get things done if things are going to turn around.  Week 6 has plenty of intriguing match-ups and we should see great some games.  The question is can this group finally make a run, so here are this week’s Five Game Parlay Picks. We can't get any worse right?

Ted Schuster of Fantasy Alarm (@Tedschuster)

Green Bay Packers +4.5 @ Houston Texans

Houston has been by far the best team on both sides of the ball so far this season while Green Bay has struggled to a 2-3.  I know the Packers have been exposed at times since season but Aaron Rodgers is motivated will avoid the 2-4 start with a straight-up win.

New England Patriots @ Seattle Seahawks +3.5

The offense has really been clicking as of late for New England but going to Seattle is always tough.  Seattle will need more out of Russell Wilson if they want to win this one though.  The Seahawks will harass Tom Brady enough to cover the points at home.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers -4

I may just believe a little too much in Tampa Bay but the running defense for the Buccaneers has been strong which is all the Chiefs can do at this point.  Doug Martin has a breakthrough game and is finally the focal point of the offense as Tampa cruises at home.

Oakland Raiders +10 @ Atlanta Falcons

There is no real reason to think the Raiders can even compete in this game but I expect that after the bye week they will get Darren McFadden going.  Atlanta has not looked real good the last two weeks despite the wins so I like Oakland to keep this game just close enough.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns +2.5

Trent Richardson is a complete stud and the coaches need to make sure he get him 20 to 25 carries each game but have been complete morons so far this season.  Cincinnati is just a bad team right now so I will take the Browns at home for their first win of the season.

Michael Stein of Fantasy Judgment (@FantasyJudgment)

New England Patriots (-3.5) @ Seattle Seawhawks

After the past two games, it is apparent that the Patriots have found their offensive groove.  Traveling out west to Seattle is never an easy trip for an east coast team, but New England is clicking on all cylinders and has even established a solid running game.  Seattle is a different team when they aren’t given four timeouts or credit for intercepted touchdowns.  They do have a solid defense so this won’t be a blowout, but in the end New England will silence the deafening 12th man in the city where Starbucks was founded

New Giants @ San Francisco 49ers (-7)

This is one of the best games of the week in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game.   The Giants benefited from some key special teams mistakes in that game which made all the difference.  Now the 49ers have become one of the league’s best teams in all areas and present serious challenges for the Giants.  Hakeem Nicks will likely play, but I don’t see his presence affecting the outcome of the game.  San Francisco will avenge their loss in convincing form.

Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5) @ Cleveland Browns

The Browns have yet to win a game this year and will have to wait at least another week to do so.  The Bengals have been a solid team all season and should have no problems defeating their in-state rivals in enemy territory.  For the record, whoever wins this Battle of Ohio will not have any effect on whether Obama or Romney win Ohio.

Buffalo Bills (+3.5) @ Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals came back to earth last week suffering their first loss of the year.  Now they are even more beat up as running back Ryan Williams is done for the season.  Buffalo’s high-priced defense has allowed almost 100 points combined the past two weeks, but this week they should be able to assert themselves against a wounded Arizona team.

Dallas Cowboys (+3) @ Baltimore Ravens

I am going out on a limb with this pick given how bad the Cowboys have been the past couple games.  But after their miserable performance against the Bears two weeks ago, the only way they can go is up.  Dallas’s best game this year thus far was on the road against the Giants, so being away from home could be the best thing for them.  Baltimore’s defense is not what it used to be, so Tony Romo has a chance to avenge himself.

Jeff Mans of Fantasy Alarm (@jeff_mans)

Baltimore Ravens (-3) vs. Dallas Cowboys

I’m sorry Cowboys fans but even coming off of a bye won’t help this week on the road against the Ravens.  A season that looked so promising after a week 1 win against the defending Super Bowl Champions has fallen off the deep end.

Green Bay Packers (+4) at Houston Texans

It’s not usually my style to pick road dogs but this spread probably should be 1 or 2.  The Texans aren’t that good and the Packers are far from bad so I can easily see them staying within a field goal here or even winning the game outright.

New York Jets (-3) vs. Indianapolis Colts

I’m going into the belly of the beast here.  I believe that my opponents and most reasonable people will expect the Colts to stay close or even win this game.  But the Jets are going to rebound this week and whip up on the Colts who played with a huge amount of steam last week in a home victory against the Packers.

New England Patriots (-3.5) at Seattle Seahawks

I feel like Hannah Landrigan as I once again pick the Patriots.  But the fact of the matter in this game is one team has one of the better QB’s of all time and the other has Russell Wilson.  There is no rhyme or reason (including the 12th man) that the Pats lose this game.  I am just hoping to not lose by the hook.

Atlanta Falcons (-10) vs. Oakland Raiders

The Falcons have been walking on a wire this season by only showing up for half of games.  Still, I see no problem with them handling the Raiders who cannot win a game east of the Mississippi for anything.

Drew Phelps of SiriusXM (@djdrew05)

Indianapolis Colts +3.5 @ New York Jets

Andrew Luck and Reggie Wayne are going to continue their love affair in the Meadowlands this weekend.  No Darrelle Revis means great things for these two again and I've got the Colts winning outright and big!

Kansas City Chiefs @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers -4

Brady Quinn leading the Chiefs into Tampa Bay this weekend doesn't sound like a recipe for success.  The Bucs are coming off a bye and their run game will get going against the 22nd ranked run defense.  Doug Martin goes off!

Detriot Lions +3 @ Philadelphia Eagles

Michael Vick is a turnover machine and the Lions defense is anything if not opportunistic.  The Lions offense will wake up and in a big way this week against an average Eagles defense.

Buffalo Bills +4 @ Arizona Cardinals

The Bills defense may be suspect but their offense is legit.  Fitzpatrick and company can really score points and the Cardinals are one of the toughest teams to judge.  This will be a close shootout.

New England Patriots -3.5 @ Seattle Seahawks

I still do not believe in anything that Russell Wilson stand for as a quarterback in the National Football League.  I think the defense will perform will against the Patriots but Tom Brady needs and wants this win and he usually gets what he wants ... Hello Gisele

Hannah Landrigan- Mineral Area College Cheerleader (@HannahLandrigan)

St. Louis Rams (+4.5) at Miami Dolphins

That’s my team 

Arizona Cardinals (+3.5) vs. Buffalo Bills

Is this even fair?  Buffalo or Arizona…jeez let me think…sunshine or BUFFALO!!  I’ll take the sun!

Green Bay Packers (+4) at Houston Texans

I always take the Packers but this time it kind of scares me.  Houston is undefeated but why break tradition.

Denver Broncos @ San Diego Chargers (Even)

San Diego has hotter cheerleaders!!!

New England Patriots (-3.5) @ Seattle Seahawks

Always take the sexier quarterback!

Want to know a little bit more about each participant?  Really?  You do?  Why?  Well, in that case, we profile each competitor.

Ted Schuster is the co-host of the Fantasy Alarm Show on SIRIUS/XM with Jeff Mans.  Always the angriest person in the room and never afraid to say someone sucks.  I am always hating on someone or some team.   Lifelong sports fan that will watch just about every sport around but nothing compares to NFL and College Football which is what you can find me doing each and every weekend during the fall and winter months.

Michael Stein of Fantasy Judgment is the Supreme Court Justice of the Fantasy Football world.  Stein is the man to go to if you have any sort of issue in your fantasy football league. Fantasy Judgment is the site you need if you have a rogue commissioner who is pulling things over on your league, a trade that just seems to be really fishy, or any other kind of shenanigans that can take a good fantasy league and make it turn badly. Not to mention the fine work that he does for us here at Fantasy Alarm.  Stein picks like he has had a lobotomy, so be careful before you put any of your hard earned money on any selections that he makes!

Jeff Mans has played fantasy football for over 20 years and is my partner on The Fantasy Alarm Show.  Jeff’s outside the box thinking has served him well and gained him much attention throughout the fantasy sports industry.  He’s won many championships but few friends in the process.  Although he has a wealth of knowledge and never shuts up, he knows that he’ll need to get through me to win this competition.

Drew Phelps is the Executive Producer of the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.  Lifelong suffering Washigton DC sports fan and very cynical when it comes to his own teams, but can you blame him?  He has been in handicapping sporting events for over 10 years now but just really hit his stride over the past couple seasons especially in the NFL.

Hannah Landrigan is a Freshman cheerleader at Mineral Area College in Missouri.  She is a legend on Twitter (@hannahlandrigan) mostly for her hot as hell pictures of her under a waterfall but also for her quick wit and social commentary.  Her favorite team in all of sports is the Duke Blue Devils college basketball team.  She is admittedly not a big NFL fan but likes to play rough with the boys and thus is in it to win it.
