It was the best of weeks, it was the worst of weeks.  It all depends on whether you had Chris Johnson, Drew Brees, Vincent Jackson and Rob Gronkowski or you played against them.  The least amount of games were played this week than there has been or will be the rest of the way and thus there was a lack of true impact performances in week 7.  But if you were able to ride out those huge performances or just got lucky by starting Josh Freeman, Jonathan Dwyer, Randall Cobb or David Thomas than you will be smiling all through our week 7 roundup:

Arian Foster continues to be the king of short TD’s with a 1 and 2 yard score today

Ravens continue to lose defensive players with both Reed and Ngata

Mewelde Moore get the first touch at RB inside in the 10

Each team only had 1 possession in the entire 1st quarter

Richardson looks very tentative in particular right after his first carry where he took a shot to the back

Ben Wastson looks a 4yd TD to a penalty then Little has 14yd TD that was actually a great catch

Notes

Aaron Rodgers footwork is incredible in the way on the run he can set his body and throw a perfect strike

4th straight week with a play over 50+ yards for Chris Givens

Packers were really ineffective in running the ball with their worst performance of the season

Packers still trying to rack up the stats taking a shot into the endzone up 10 with less than 2 minutes to go

Harrison Smith 31 yard INT return for a TD

Notes

John Skelton pocket presence is terrible as he never feels any pressure behind him

Powell fumbled a kickoff and did not enter the game after that.  Seen holding a football on the sideline

The Vikings have controlled this game despite a terrible performance by Pinder

Fitzgerald has 3 early catches but was ignored until the last drive of the game where he caught one pass

Chris Johnson TD runs of 18 & 83 yards

Bills RG Chad Rinehart left with leg injury

Brad Smith 89 yard kickoff return for TD

Nate Washington 15 yard TD reception

Notes

For as good as Chris Johnson looked today, he is still inconsistent and Jamie Harper is the goal line RB.

Both Spiller and Fred Jackson go over 100 total yards. Both are every week starters at this point.

The Bills defense is one of the worst in the NFL and a terrible waste of money. Play anyone against them.

I will continue to start Kendall Wright over Kenny Britt in fantasy leagues. Britt is not the player he was.

Santana Moss TD receptions of 26 & 30 yards

London Fletcher left with Hamstring injury

Ahmad Bradshaw 1 yard TD run

Victor Cruz 77 yard TD reception

Notes

Eli Manning runs like he’s wearing a diaper. Robert Griffin does not.

Andre Brown cannot be forgotten. He ran 5-17 yards with a TD in this game and is the primary goal line RB.

For as good as RG3 looks at times, ball security, injuries and downfield accuracy are still concerns.

Santana Moss loses a fumble at the end of the game to halt a last chance drive for the Redskins.

Key Plays

Vincent Jackson 17 yard TD reception

Joe Morgan 48 yard TD reception

Dallas Clark 3 yard TD reception

Notes

Drew Brees is not the same player he has been but the Saints defense makes him a better fantasy QB.

LaGarrette Blount had 3 straight carries from the goal line in the 3rd quarter and could not convert.

It really seems like the Saints are more interested in getting fantasy points than winning football games.

Don’t expect this kind of production from the Buccaneers on a regular basis especially from Freeman.

Brandon LaFell 5 yard TD reception

Felix Jones in & out with knee & shoulder injuries

Miles Austin 26 yard TD reception

Mike Tolbert 2 yard TD run

Notes

Cam Newton is nearly unstoppable when he is in his zone which he’s been in every other game.

The Panthers running back situation is a nightmare. I wouldn’t waste a roster space on any of them.

Dez Bryant was tested for a concussion on the sideline but returned soon afterwards.

Jason Garrett has run out of ideas for the Cowboys offense. Very vanilla, boring and predictable.

Shonn Greene was checked for concussion but

Rob Gronkowski TD receptions of 17 & 2 yards

Allowed to remain in the game.

Devin McCourty 104 yard kickoff return for TD

Dustin Keller 7 yard TD reception

Notes

The Patriots offense just can’t put teams away at this point. Consistency is a big problem for this unit.

While I don’t love Shonn Greene by any means he is a more useful fantasy RB than many others in the NFL.

The Patriots secondary allows the most completions of at least 15 yard in the NFL.

Brandon Lloyd and Tom Brady just have no chemistry. Lloyd’s 2 drops today were absolute drive killers.

MJD left game with foot injury after 2 carries

Cecil Shorts 42 yard TD reception

Blaine Gabbert left game with shoulder injury

Denarius Moore 8 yard TD reception

Rasheen Mathis left game with groin injury

Carson Palmer 1 yard TD run

Notes

Rashad Jennings is a very worthwhile waiver addition this week if he is available in your league.

Darren McFadden officially takes over for Chris Johnson as the most disappointing RB this year.

It is unfounded why the Jaguars don’t have Justin Blackmon on the field more often, waste of a draft pick.

Brandon Myers has proven to be a sustainable TE but he needs a TD or two to become actually useful.

Key Plays

Bengals C Jeff Faine left game with thigh injury

Cedric Peerman 5 yard TD Run

Bengals WR Marvin Jones left with a knee injury

AJ Green 8 yard TD reception

Heath Miller 9 yard TD reception

Notes

Andy Dalton is not a fantasy QB1. He is a real good QB2 but can’t be a starter on a championship team.

Jonathan Dwyer has been the most impressive Steelers RB since the start of training camp.

The Bengals need to add depth at RB badly. Cedric Peerman as a backup just won’t cut it all season.

Baron Batch misjudged a gadget play pass from Antonio Brown that should have went for a long TD.
