It was the best of weeks, it was the worst of weeks. It all depends on whether you had Chris Johnson, Drew Brees, Vincent Jackson and Rob Gronkowski or you played against them. The least amount of games were played this week than there has been or will be the rest of the way and thus there was a lack of true impact performances in week 7. But if you were able to ride out those huge performances or just got lucky by starting Josh Freeman, Jonathan Dwyer, Randall Cobb or David Thomas than you will be smiling all through our week 7 roundup:

For as good as Chris Johnson looked today, he is still inconsistent and Jamie Harper is the goal line RB. |

Both Spiller and Fred Jackson go over 100 total yards. Both are every week starters at this point. |

The Bills defense is one of the worst in the NFL and a terrible waste of money. Play anyone against them. |

Eli Manning runs like he’s wearing a diaper. Robert Griffin does not. |

Andre Brown cannot be forgotten. He ran 5-17 yards with a TD in this game and is the primary goal line RB. |
For as good as RG3 looks at times, ball security, injuries and downfield accuracy are still concerns. |

Drew Brees is not the same player he has been but the Saints defense makes him a better fantasy QB. |
LaGarrette Blount had 3 straight carries from the goal line in the 3rd quarter and could not convert. |
It really seems like the Saints are more interested in getting fantasy points than winning football games. |
Don’t expect this kind of production from the Buccaneers on a regular basis especially from Freeman. |

The Panthers running back situation is a nightmare. I wouldn’t waste a roster space on any of them. |

Dez Bryant was tested for a concussion on the sideline but returned soon afterwards. |

Notes |

The Patriots offense just can’t put teams away at this point. Consistency is a big problem for this unit. |
While I don’t love Shonn Greene by any means he is a more useful fantasy RB than many others in the NFL. |
The Patriots secondary allows the most completions of at least 15 yard in the NFL. |
Brandon Lloyd and Tom Brady just have no chemistry. Lloyd’s 2 drops today were absolute drive killers. |

Rashad Jennings is a very worthwhile waiver addition this week if he is available in your league. |

Darren McFadden officially takes over for Chris Johnson as the most disappointing RB this year. |
It is unfounded why the Jaguars don’t have Justin Blackmon on the field more often, waste of a draft pick. |

Jonathan Dwyer has been the most impressive Steelers RB since the start of training camp. |

The Bengals need to add depth at RB badly. Cedric Peerman as a backup just won’t cut it all season. |

Baron Batch misjudged a gadget play pass from Antonio Brown that should have went for a long TD. |
