After two slow weeks fantasy owners were finally rewarded with a tremendous output in week 6.  Hell even the Jets got into the mix racking up 35 points against Indianapolis.  Ten QB’s threw for over 300 yards, five threw for 3 TD’s or more and sixteen receivers racked up 90+ yards.  In all, 623 points were scored across the NFL so far in week 6 and we still have two great offenses to go on Monday Night.  But it wasn’t all good news this week either.  Only two RB’s rushed for over 100 yards and one of those was Shonn Greene.  Still, most of us are happy with the points we scored this week even if we are disappointed with the outcomes.  Here is a complete breakdown of everything that happened in week 6:

Raiders driving and Palmer throws a terrible pick six

Snelling gets a 1 yard TD run after Turner could not

Notes

Raiders get a Ryan INT but a nice catch run by McFadden is called back for holding then fumb the next play

Ryan is forcing the ball earlier on to his receivers vs. taking what the defense gives him

Heyward-Bey did not seem to avoid contact which is a good for a guy coming back from a bad concussion

1st time all season that Raiders have continued to pound the ball throughout the game

Trent Richardson – side injury

Great one-handed TD Catch by Josh Gordon for 71 yards

AJ Green 57 yard TD catch off a tired Joe Haden

Notes

The play calling continues to be terrible for the Browns.  3rd and 1 and they refuse to run the ball

Richardson supposedly has an injury to his side but has not returned to game since missed a block

The 4 week suspension really showed in the play of Joe Haden as he struggled with this conditioning

Hardesty is the clear back-up for the normal offense if Richardson is out for an extended time

Notes

Zuerlein who had been automatic all season for the Rams missed a 37 and 53 yarder in the first half

Brian Hartline was non-existent today with no catches only managed to draw 1 pass interference call

St Louis was determined to not let Reggie Bush going with no running room in the entire game

The Dolphins much talked about run defense was over-hyped with holes to run through all day

Shonn Greene 3 Nice TD runs

Down 22 in the 4th the Colts kick a FG

Notes

Luck misses a 2 yard TD pass to Fleener which forced the Colts to settle for a 20 yard FG

Shonn Greene actually running with vision and explosion for the first time since Week 1

Andrew Luck had his worst game of career with hurried throws and the offensive line play poor once again

The Jets finally got their running game going which allowed Sanchez to just manage the game

Jacoby Jones 108 yard kickoff return

Dez Bryant 7 yard TD reception

Notes

The Eagles controlled this game but interceptions and ineffective offense let the Lions back in it late.

The Lions red zone deficiency has resulted in a huge year for Jason Hanson so far.

Calvin Johnson had 25 yard TD catch called back due to penalty.

Titus Young should not be owned in leagues of 12 teams or less.

Dez Bryant TD receptions of 7 & 4 yards

Notes

The Cowboys absolutely shredded the Ravens defense with 3 different RB’s in this game.

Ray Lewis left the game late with an undisclosed injury but remained on the sidelines.

Dez Bryant dropped 2 point conversion after his 4 yard TD that would have tied the game.

Cowboys recovered onside kick but Dan Bailey missed 51 yard FG attempt as time expired.

Matt Cassel was inactive for this game

Mike Williams 62 yard TD reception

Vincent Jackson TD catches of 19 & 17 yards

Ronde Barber 78 yard INT return for TD

Notes

Neither of Quinn’s INT were his fault. First one went off Maneri’s chest and other was Barber’s return for TD

Which was another dropped pass that popped up in air and actually touched the ground twice.

Mike Williams is once again worthy of a roster spot on fantasy teams but is not a legitimate starting option.

Buccaneers really need to establish their running game better. Seem to not be able to get it going early.

Larry Fitzgerald 9 yard TD reception

Da’Norris Searcy left with ankle injury

Jarius Byrd INT of John Skelton

Notes

Fred Jackson is a very good player. But CJ Spiller is a superstar. Make the right decision people.

William Powell running harder and better than either Beanie Wells or Ryan Williams did this season.

Jay Feely made FG’s of 49, 49 & 61 yards but missed a 38 yarder that would have won the game in regulation

John Skelton’s INT in overtime set the Bills up for the game winning FG by Rian Lindell.

Wes Welker 46 yard TD reception

Brandon Lloyd suffered a shoulder injury late

Aaron Hernandez 1 yard TD reception

Sidney Rice 46 yard TD reception

Notes

Wes Welker took a big hit to the head on a 2nd quarter catch. He left temporarily but he did return.

Russell Wilson played a lot better today. He got aggressive late and that is definitely a better style for him.

It is apparent to me that Bill Belichick trusts Brandon Bolden more than Stevan Ridley.

Brady’s 58 pass attempts were the most of his career and most of any opponent ever against the Seahawks.

49ers LT Joe Staley left with injured shoulder

Antrel Rolle 2 INT’s deep in 49ers territory

Victor Cruz left game with a knee injury late

Notes

Jim Harbaugh is outcoaching himself this season. 49ers should be pounding the ball on the ground all day.

David Akers missed 2 first half FG’s (42 & 52 yards) that really took the steam out of the offense.

Randy Moss contributed with 2 catches for 75 yards including a 55 yard grab from Alex Smith.

Cruz was injured on a cheapshot by Carlos Rogers late when the CB rolled him over on his knee/ankle.

Robert Griffin III TD runs of 7 & 76 yards

Kyle Rudolph 1 yard TD reception

Notes

Redskins immediately received dividends from new kicker Kai Forbath as he hits a 50 yarder in 2nd quarter.

The Vikings defense was terribly overrated based on early season matchups.

RG III still isn’t a good passer but he is an electric talent and a high end fantasy QB1

Kyle Rudolph also hauled in a 2 point conversion after Michael Jenkins TD catch.

Brandon Saine left with a knee injury

Arian Foster two 1 yard TD runs

James Jones TD catches of 6 & 18 yards

Notes

The Texans defense desperately missed Brian Cushing in the center today. He is out for the season.

Although Rodgers & Nelson’s output was tremendous tonight, it is important for them to be more consistent.

It is pretty clear that Alex Green will be the Packers primary RB going forward.

Aaron Rodgers 6 TD passes ties him with Matt Flynn for most in Packers franchise history.
