Now is the time of year in which colds hit the locker rooms across baseball as the body is worn down from the early grind. Perez should be out for a game or two with the cold and in the meantime Drew Butera will step in and done the gear behind the dish.
Revis was limited in mini camp this offseason after undergoing surgery on the joint earlier in the break. It was always expected that he would be eased back into things as training camp got underway, and that is what is happening here. The Jets fully expect him to be ready to go for Week 1 and that's all that really matters here.
Forte is in his first season in New York after coming over in the offseason during free agency. At 30, it's not surprising that the running back is dealing with hamstring issues at the beginning of camp as he tries to get back into football shape. He is not thought to be the every down back he was for the Bears anymore and Khiry Robinson and Bilal Powell will benefit from that downgrade in role. He is still a potent pass-catcher out of the backfield making him great for PPR formats.
Phillips was signed to act as depth for the tight end core as the Broncos dealt with a couple of guys going down with injuries during OTAs. Phillips however has primarily used as a blocker in his eight-year NFL career so this signing shouldn't add any potency to the position for the Bronco fantasy-wise.
Hill is getting another day off on Thursday as Travis Shaw will start at the hot corner against Jered Weaver. Hill has been playing spotily in the last week or so having played on the 27th but on the 24th before that. He was acquired to be a depth option at the position and not necessarily the full-time starter so this should continue down the stretch.
