Week 3 was the week for injuries. So many premium fantasy players went down with an injury this week including C.J. Spiller, Matt Stafford and Reggie Bush among plenty others. It was also a week to stand by your guys as players who struggled in the first two weeks rose to the occasion this week. JaMaal Charles, Torrey Smith and Larry Fitzgerald were among the players many didn’t start this week that broke out big time on Sunday. Let’s take a deeper look around the league and see just who did what in week 3:

When defenses take Brandon Marshall out of the picture the Bears passing offense suffers greatly. |
Steven Jackson had ice wrapped around his hamstring the entire first half. |
Khalil Bell proved to be very effective when Bush needed a breather in this game. |
Sam Bradford is a boring QB and has little to no fantasy purpose whatsoever. |

Tashard Choice will take over for Spiller until Fred Jackson comes back. Choice is a definite RB2 immediately |
When Spiller left the game the Bills offense went completely limp for the rest of the game. |
If you stop Trent Richardson, the Browns cannot move the football. |
Ryan Fitzpatrick needs to do more for this offense if they are going to have a chance against better defenses |

Notes |

Tony Romo didn’t look to Austin or Bryant most of the first half. He needs to force them the ball. |
Doug Martin runs incredibly hard. He is going to very hard to stop near the goal line. |
DeMarcus Ware is an IDP stud. He was very underrated going into drafts this year but he’s a top 5 LB now. |
The Cowboys didn’t trust Tony Romo to throw the ball on the final drive, settling for a FG instead. |
