Fantasy football is a funny game. Just when you think you have everything figured out and know what to expect from teams, players and opponents things change. We saw two of the best offenses in football shut out this week. Players like Doug Martin, Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks crippled fantasy teams this week. The hottest players in the land like Danario Alexander, Josh Gordon and David Wilson failed to make any impact whatsoever. Even studs like Ray Rice, JaMaal Charles, Reggie Wayne and Roddy White couldn’t avoid breaking fantasy owners hearts this week. If you were fortunate enough to start Russell Wilson, Sam Bradford or Kirk Cousins then you not only should thank your luck stars but also play the lottery while you’re at it. Week 15 was once again about survival so if you still have a heartbeat no matter how faint you should thank your lucky stars. Let’s recap everything that we’ve learned from the most disappointing week of the fantasy season so far:

Cousins was a very nice find for the Redskins this year. He could develop into an average NFL Starter. |
Despite the fantasy numbers, Trent Richardson has been less than stellar in his rookie season. |

Kai Forbath has been a huge upgrade for the Redskins. He’s been a high end fantasy player too since signing. |

The problem with the Ravens offense obviously wasn’t Cam Cameron. It’s more like Joe Flacco and no WR’s. |
There isn’t a player in football who is playing harder than Knowshon Moreno right now. |
Eric Decker had a 12 yard TD catch called back because his foot was out of bounds at the 1 yard line. |

Bad day for DeMaryius Thomas & his owners who probably lost this week due to this poor performance. |

I had a bad feeling about Doug Martin and it turned out to be true. I’d still start him in all leagues next year. |

The Saints are the kings of running up the score on opponents which is obviously great for fantasy owners. |
Jimmy Graham is still a top 2 TE in fantasy but it’s impossible to have kept up the pace he set last year. |

Vincent Jackson owners should be real happy that he got 5 of his 6 catches in the 4th quarter of this game. |
