2012 Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings: Week 8
We’re at the midway point of the fantasy football regular season. Where you go from here will primarily be determined by how well you manage your team from here on out. Stop hoping for another breakout player jumping up on the waiver wire who’ll rescue your season or a trade that you must make to survive. If you haven’t made those moves or found those players yet than you’re in trouble my friends. But fear not I say!! Between injuries (MJD), ineffectiveness (McFadden) and usage (Doug Martin) the RB position has been nothing short of a tire fire this season. What makes matters worse is that some of the best performances of the season (Chris Johnson week 7, Jackie Battle week 2, etc) were by running backs who weren’t even started in many leagues. One good aspect of this week is that Scott Chandler and Dennis Pitta are both off. These two have been the worst nightmare for fantasy owners as far as TE’s are concerned. Personally, I wouldn’t have either on my roster as they are truly TD or nothing players. I’d rather have a guy like Brandon Myers who will catch 5 balls and is much more involved in the offense on a weekly basis. Anyways, here are my week 8 TE rankings:
