Dirk Nowitzki Headshot

Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) will not be limited on Friday.

Dirk revealed after the game he hurt his ankle but played through and was able to put up 19 points and four rebounds. His claim led to some speculation that he may sit Friday since it is a back to back, but he is penciled in as the starting center. Deploy him as you normally would.

Ty Lawson Headshot

Ty Lawson (ankle) will play on Friday.

Well, that was a quick turnaround! Just 10 minutes ago news broke that Lawson would be a game-time decision for tonight's game but it appears as though he will play tonight. It's uncertain whether or not his injured ankle will hamper his play but he will give it a go tonight against the Grizzlies.

Jabari Blash Headshot

Padres designated Jabari Blash for assignment.

Blash has been designated for assignment by the Padres after appearing in 38 games for the team in 2016. Blash hit just .169 with 3 home runs and five RBIs in 84 at-bats, so his designation shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. The 27-year-old has shown the ability to hit at the AAA level, and it wouldn't be totally surprising if he caught on with another Major League team in 2017.

Justin Hamilton Headshot

Justin Hamilton is in the starting lineup on Friday.

Hamilton is being inserted into the starting lineup as both Trevor Booker and Sean Kilpatrick are being rested. Given his presence in the starting lineup tonight, Hamilton makes for an interesting punt play at the center position as he's been able to score a decent amount of points as of late, scoring at least nine points in five out of his last seven games. He seems unlikely to play more than 20 or so minutes tonight, so that's something to be aware of if you do insert him into your lineup.

Sean Kilpatrick Headshot

Sean Kilpatrick (rest) will not play on Friday.

The Nets have decided to rest Kilpatrick tonight, who has played an average of 27 minutes per game, for when the team takes on the Pelicans in New Orleans. The Brooklyn guard has played in each of the Nets first 41 games this season, so giving him a breather does make some sense. With Kilpatrick out tonight, Randy Foye and Joe Harris will both likely see a bump in playing time.

Ty Lawson Headshot

Ty Lawson (ankle) will be a game time decision for Friday's game

Lawson was sidelined for the Kings loss to the Pacers on Wednesday night due to a twisted ankle and it appears as though he will be a game-time decision for tonight's game. Lawson is simply too risky to consider using tonight in DFS formats. If Lawson is unable to go, Darren Collison would be a great play tonight as he averages 16 fantasy points more per game with Lawson sidelined.

Norman Powell Headshot

Norman Powell is starting for the Raptors on Friday.

With Patrick Patterson sidelined due to a sore knee, Normal Powell will get the starting nod over Paskal Siakam. When Powell has been in the starting lineup he has played more than 20 minutes in every game, and in four of those starts he has played more than 26 minutes, so he could be a good value play tonight for DFS purposes. Powell is averaging 6.0 points and 1.6 rebounds in just over 14 minutes played per game this season.

Delon Wright Headshot

Delon Wright (shoulder) is available to play on Friday.

Wright has missed the entirety of the season so far after having shoulder surgery in the offseason but it appears as though he will be available off the bench tonight for the Raptors. The 24-year-od played in 27 games last year but failed to secure a large role in the rotation as he played just north of eight minutes per game. He can be avoided in all fantasy formats moving forward.
