Guerschon Yabusele Headshot

Yabusele is expected to make his debut for the Celtic's D-League Maine Red Claws on Friday, ESPN's Chris Forsberg reports.

The French draft stash played well for the Shanghai Sharks and will now test his skills on American soil. There was concern regarding an ankle injury, but he's clearly now ready to go. The 16th pick in the 2016 draft will need to prove himself both in Maine and during summer Las Vegas play to earn a roster spot next season.

Isaiah Thomas Headshot

Thomas efficiently generated 32 points (9-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three blocks across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 103-100 loss to the Bucks.

Thomas was the only strong shooter for Boston, as the rest of the team shot 36.6 percent from the field. Despite the loss, Thomas became only the sixth Celtic all-time to score 2,000 points in a season. He also extended his franchise record streak of at least one made 3-pointer to 50 games. Thomas and the Celtics look to turn things around at home Friday versus the Magic.
8:19 am (EST)
Shelvin Mack Headshot

Mack accumulated 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 112-82 win over the Kings.

Mack stepped up and played well with George Hill (groin) sitting out, and it was badly needed on a night when fill-in starter Dante Exum went scoreless. Moreover, it was encouraging to see Mack on the court for extended stretches since he saw only three minutes in his return to the lineup on Monday. Given that he was sidelined since Feb. 11 with an ankle injury, Jazz coach Quin Snyder will likely feed Mack plenty of minutes down the stretch as he looks to help him regain his groove in time for the postseason.
8:10 am (EST)
Dante Exum Headshot

Exum ended with zero points (0-6 FG, 0-5 3Pt), three rebounds, and two assists in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 112-82 win over the Kings.

With George Hill (groin) ailing, Exum drew his 20th start of the season. Nevertheless, he struggled badly, and Exum is not a reliable fantasy option due to his inability to shoot combined with the Jazz's depth. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Shelvin Mack ended up outplaying Exum off the bench, scoring 14 points (on five-of-eight shooting) in 29 minutes.
8:03 am (EST)
Steven Wright Headshot

Wright pitched four innings against the Pirates on Tuesday wearing an elastic knee brace, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

The morning after his appearance, Wright sported a larger metal brace in the clubhouse. The right-hander said the knee has been occasionally sore for a few weeks and that the brace was a precaution. He added the knee issue is not linked to any specific incident and that it hasn't affected his pitching. Wright had a 0.68 ERA in 13.1 spring innings spanning four starts. He'll pitch in an intrasquad tuneup this coming Sunday then is scheduled to start against Detroit on April 7.
8:02 am (EST)
Gordon Hayward Headshot

Hayward (quad) had 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, and four assists in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 112-82 win over the Kings.

Hayward rejoined the lineup following a one-game absence, and he scored efficiently in his return. Expect him to keep playing plenty of minutes so long as he remains healthy, as the Jazz are looking to hold off the Clippers for home-court advantage in the first round of their looming playoff series.
7:56 am (EST)
Ben McLemore Headshot

McLemore supplied 22 points (9-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, and one assist in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 112-82 loss to the Jazz.

McLemore matched season highs in scoring and field-goal percentage. However, he has been an unreliable contributor since the Kings acquired Buddy Hield, and this was the most playing time McLemore has seen since last month. He has still managed to score in double figures during 10 of 15 appearances since Hield joined the team, but it's clear that the Kings are valuing the progress of their prized rookie over the fourth-year guard.
7:51 am (EST)
Blake Griffin Headshot

Griffin registered 26 points (10-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists, and two steals across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 133-124 win over the Wizards.

Griffin notched his 18th double-double of the season and came close to delivering his second triple-double of 2016-17. He has scored 20 points or more in only six of 16 games during the month of March, but Griffin is still contributing solid rebounding and assist numbers. Expect him to put together another impressive stat line against an abysmal Suns defense on Thursday.
7:39 am (EST)
Chris Paul Headshot

Paul posted 27 points (9-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 13 assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 133-124 win over the Wizards.

Paul was spectacular, scorching the Wizards for one of his more efficient double-doubles of the season. He now has 20 double-doubles and one triple-double here in 2016-17, and a matchup with the lowly Suns is scheduled for Thursday. For as long as the Clippers have a shot at stealing home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs, Paul is a good bet to keep pumping out quality stats.
7:31 am (EST)
J.J. Redick Headshot

Redick (ankle) recorded 31 points (9-15 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and one assist in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 133-124 win over the Wizards.

Redick did almost nothing besides score, but it was encouraging to see him shake off the ankle injury that sidelined him for Sunday's showdown with the Kings. Redick managed a season high in scoring while matching a season best in made threes. Furthermore, the Clippers are in the midst of a close battle for home-court advantage in the first round, so expect Redick and the regulars to continue suiting up until the standings are set in stone.
