Carlos Beltran was removed from Saturday's game due to right scapula tightness.

Beltran hit his second home run in as many games before exiting. The game was turning into a blowout when he left with shoulder soreness, so the removal may have been mostly cautionary. Still, it's hard to bank on him returning on Sunday. Aaron Hicks could start in right field if Beltran is out.

Jhonny Peralta's rehab assignment has been put on halt because of a cut finger.

Peralta is coming back from a broken thumb, and was hoping to be back in the next week or so. He'll have his return delayed by at least a few days, though the injury doesn't sound serious. It's still unknown whether Peralta will have a starting role upon return.

Trevor Plouffe had an MRI on his knee and it revealed no structural damage.

Plouffe left Friday's game with a sprained MCL. Eduardo Nunez is playing third base on Saturday and could see more time there going forward should Plouffe land on the disabled list. More news should come out regarding his status soon.

Josh Harrison is not in the Pirates lineup on Saturday due to an illness.

Harrison had to leave Friday's game with the same illness. Cole Figueroa will instead start at second base and will bat ninth. Harrison is unlikely to miss more time.

Huston Street (oblique) will be re-evaluated after Saturday's extended spring training game to determine if he'll be activated or not.

Street has been out since April with an oblique strain, but the Angels are hoping he can return by the end of May or the start of June. When he is back, Street will take over the closers role from Joe Smith.

Mets have detected a flaw in Matt Harvey's delivery.

Harvey has seen his velocity drop and performance decline this season, with many suspecting an injury. While this could still be the case, the Mets claim to have found something in Harvey's delivery that may be the source of a couple of his issues.

Zack Wheeler (elbow) threw a 20-pitch bullpen on Friday.

Wheeler hasn't pitched since 2014 due to Tommy John surgery that he required before the 2015 season. He's expected back around the All Star Break and will hope to make strides towards reaching his top of the rotation upside.

Devon Travis was 2-for-5 with a run, double and two RBI in the Blue Jays 10 - 9 win over Boston on Saturday.

Toronto has awaited the return of their second baseman but his arrival coincides with Troy Tulowitzki going to the disabled list. Devon Travis made an impression in his debut last year prior to his season ending early due to injury. Travis had two hits and kept the ninth inning alive with a pivotal hit to drive in Russell Martin in the eighth inning. He is now hitting .294 in his small sample size this year and also is 2-for-3 against David Price who will start on Sunday.

Russell Martin was 3-for-5 with three runs, a double, home run (3) and three RBI in Toronto’s 10 - 9 win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Not only has Russell Martin been off to a slow start, in spite of his three hits on Saturday, Martin is still below the Mendoza Line on the season. But with his home run on Saturday, Martin now has three in his last four games in which he is 6-for-17 with six runs and six RBI. He now has 11 runs and 14 RBI after 43 games but this is not the type of production fantasy owners were hoping for. Martin is 5-for-25 in prior match-ups with David Price who will start on Sunday in Toronto.
