For those of you still fighting for a championship, the good news is that the pitching options for this upcoming week are quite appealing. The other good news is that I don't have any bad news to report. So, let's see who you should be snapping up off the wire to push you over the edge to fantasy glory.

Do I even need to say (write?) it anymore? Put these guys into your rotation and forget about it for the next seven days. My early draft reliance on Fister repeating his success from the end of 2011 and my expectations for Scherzer busting loose this season seem to have been well placed. So why aren't I winning more leagues? As usual, because of injuries and drafting with heart over my head. Gonna be blowing up my baseball draft strategy over the winter, I've decided.

To continue talking about me, sure am glad I bailed on The Freak, instead of just stashing him on my bench. Actually, it's nice to see Timmy get his season back in order, and in like fashion, for Burnett to start pitching well again, now that the Pirates are pretty much out of it in the NL. Hellickson's regression from 2011 seems to be over now. Leake is another guy getting his head straight as the season winds down, and any Cincy SP is a good bet with their offense. Wood and Correia are two more guys that I touted early on, and I always like to see my picks to click reassert themselves. I would suggest adding Wood if he's available in a keeper league. Santiago is a guy I am willing to take a flier on now that he's hit the rotation instead of toiling away in the bullpen. That Liriano pick up by the White Sox isn't looking so spectacular now. I an Kennedy was due to regress, but if he pitches to his strengths, locating his fastball and effectively mixing in the off-speed stuff in his repertoire, he can be extremely effective. The Braves need Hudson to pick up his game, and they have to be hoping he figures things out soon. I still believe in him, but not enough to chance my playoff run on given his recent performances. Harang and Cobb are just like Hudson, they can be very good or blow up your week. I would suggest avoiding them, and instead taking a chance on Pettitte or Floyd, but if you don't feel luck, avoid all 4 of them.

Huff, David SP CLE |
I cannot in good conscience tell you that any of these SPs are worth a shot this week. Huff is the best of the bunch, and that's only because we don't have track record for him as a starter. Francis and Chacin have the on-going problem of pitch limits in Colorado, so don't expect any wins, or much in the way of helpful stats. Millwoood is basically a place holder for Seattle at this point, and he can be mediocre at best. Germano has two bad match ups, and Cook just hasn't pitched well recently. I picked up Gonzalez in August, but he's not worth a start now, so drop him if you made the same mistake as me. Actually, he helped me for a few starts, so don't beat me or yourself up. I don't like Romero at all this season, in fact, he may be have joined the DTM list. Good riddance. Doubront has been sucking for a few weeks, except for the start against the Yankees, so don't waste your FAAB on him at this point in the season. Hochevar, another DTM list member. He teases, but I ain't buying it anymore. Avoid him like the plague.

If you've ever shopped for clothes online, http://www.jacketsbrandssale.com then you know how difficult it can be to choose the right size. Luckily, most stores have created guides for helping you choose the right size coat for your body based on your measurements. By using a simple measuring technique, you'll reduce the chance of having to return an item bought online because it doesn't fit.
